When Do
We Remember Allah Ta'ala?

When things are at their worst, when things have come to an end,

When we have no hope, when we are driven round the bend,

When our trust is betrayed fully and all is gone,

When we have deeply, sinfully wronged,

When we have lied to such an extent,

And now, we sob, cry and repent,

When we have lost all our worldly possessions,

When we are facing traumatic (shocking)

depressions,

When we have lied, cheated and rebelled,

When we have disrespectfully, to elders yelled,

When we have been exposed with no hidden shame,

When we have lost all our dignity, pride and fame,

When our hearts have shattered and broken,

When we have spitefully, selfishly spoken,

When we have laughed at others unlucky fate,

When bad topics are our discussions on debate,

When we have danced to the music in clubs,

When we have consumed alcohol and drugs,

When acted sinfully in deliberation,

When in hardship and in times of desperation,…and yet;

Allah Ta'ala is still so Forgiving,

For all our sinful acts and wrong-doings,

Ask for repentance and seek refuge,

For all our mistakes are enormously huge,

Accept our faults and repent ‘Tawbah’

And after repeatedly recite’ Astagh-Firullah’

Be consistent in all deeds,

Allah Ta'ala will listen to all your pleads,

Change our attitudes and our luck will change,

Ignore the signals, the unhappiness remains,

Our sinful acts, you can still save,

Don’t dig deeper into your own grave,

‘Tawbah….Tawbah’ today we say,

We’ll remember You forever, night and day.

May Allah Ta'ala save us from further sinful acts…. Aameen!

Did you write that yourself Ukhti? It's beautiful masha'allah!! so many verses in the Qur'aan say similar to some of these lines :) Lakin Subhanallah, it's the nature of most mankind to take everything for granted :( May Allah make us from the tawwaabeen Amin

wow sis aisha that was amazing only wish other people had the same message.

the reason that i registered was to ask other brothers and sisters about islam. i come from a muslim family but hardly anyone prays and reads the quran. we have a limited knowledge of islam. the older generation refuse to learn new ways to practice islam. My younger sisters know more than me about islam because thay go to a muslim education center. so i am turning to other muslim brothers and sister for help. how do i better myself now that i have realised that the way i am going ime going to hell?!
