I usually pay Zakat or I give it to my brother to help at the local Masjid. This year I wanted to donate my Zakat money online on the Muslim Aid website or the Islamic Relief website.
Can I do this with Zakat money? Is it still seen as 'giving to charity' or am I only supposed to give Zakat money to the needy in person or through other people? Yoour help will be much appreciated. Thank you.
