Re: What will happen to apstates?

But why would a "non Muslim" care if they believe Islam not to be the truth?

Allah knows best but one who dies in disbelief after all the signs have come to them from Allah and they rejected the signs wholeheartedly then there is nothing but eternal damnation.

But as it was asked of you in the previous thread you need to discuss and open up to us about exactly what aspects of Islam you do not believe and is making you reject the truth? Because at the moment you are swaying and neither here nor there.

You mentioned you cannot believe Allah has created this life as a test. Then what do you believe? Do you believe in a God? Do you reject the Quran and Sunnah and that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is the final messenger? Do you believe in any of the Prophets?

It is probably that Islam is violent, terrorism. You should go to Saudia Arabia and see how beautiful Islam is. Believe me, it is nothing like what was promoted in U.S. It is not terrorism. And that we cover, well Christian Monks cover too!

Does your family know? Maybe it is because you do not believe in gayb. Hell is gayb. Most of Islam you reject is gayb. Ok sweetie?

    Thank you for your question.

Every human being has been entrusted with the responsibility of finding his/her place in life and the cosmos. While I have no doubt Islam is the Truth, I can imagine we're all different and at different levels of understanding. But we're as Muslims not here selling some merchandise in the market but asking people who want to know what is the truth to ask guidance of a higher power even if they feel weird or silly doing so even if the person is doubtful of whether therein exists even a higher power with which to begin. We as human beings have limited powers of good or evil, and ultimately the One who determines our fate here or hereafter is the highest power. So, we can only say in general terms that anyone who asks guidance of the highest power will be guided, even in the last breath; it is not important whether a person is born into a Muslim family or a non-Muslim family as belief or disbelief is not tied to one's family background but one's heart. Therefore, we say to whomever wants to join us, we say "welcome" to that person and say to the person to commit to questing lifelong for knowledge and sustaining peace in the heart through remembrance of the higher power. And whoever does not want to join us, we say "peace" because we're as Muslims just seekers traveling on a journey of submission to the higher power and do not wish to compel anyone to join us when they do not as we're content in who we are. Therefore, the ones who are not content in who they are should ideally seek us as we're already in peace and the ones who are not need to seek what this power of peace is for themselves.

    Sincere Regards & Best Wishes,

    P.S.
I sent you a PM earlier. Feel free to discuss any issues in private if that's something more acceptable to you as there's no compulsion to discuss in public if you'd rather not.

You know, Allah is full of mercy. If we are just Muslims who don't practice, we get temporary Hell. SO just believe Allah. I know...some things are hard to believe.

BUT, Psychology claims we are heredity and environment. "People are a product of their environment. These are core basics of Psychology. You believe everything you do becuase of your environment and upbringing. Don't fall into that trap. And usually what we cannot believe, we can't because our intelligence is just like that of an animal compare to Allah.

The best judge is the One who has the attribute of Perfection in Judgment, and we're not that as human beings. It is after all not for any mortal being to say what will happen in the future as the One and Only True and Eternal Judge alone knows the unseen and future of any human being.

Then again what if it is not from a higher being i.e. allah?
Can perfection be from anything other than a Perfect Being? Please watch YouTube videos Divine Speech Prologue 1 and Divine Speech Prologue 2. Then, come back and discuss what you've learned and your questions. Anything worth having is for which it is also worth struggling, and I strongly believe searching for the truth to be worth our struggle.

    عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَى غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا

(Allah) knower of the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,-

    إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَى مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ رَصَدًا {27

Except whom He pleases of messengers: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him

    :
"That it may be known that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Master: and He encompasses that is with them, and takes account of every single thing."

    from Quran Chapter 72.

A person doesn't have to struggle for everything just to prove he has a God given right to it even though he/she wouldn't chase after it or fight for it - although some things require constant struggle - and those are outlined by Allah. Only thieves, robbers, and the foolish or ignorant would put such a stupid curse on themselves by setting themselves up to robbery and theft.
Careful what you wish for Jadis.

Better of studying justice of Allah and the wisdom of the Quran than the laws of magic and binding of unjust bonds- I thought lawyers were readers.....but then again - the battenbergs are all about dragons....

Muslims can believe in big band. But the stages of evolution are wrong. Since you believe in big bang, answer my question
You see, nothing comes out of nothing. There was no time or space before big bang. If nothing comes out of nothing , then what did come big bang from being it that there was no time or space before it?

If you are looking for the truth then read and re-read Hamza Asadullah's and Abz2000's posts.

There is no point hovering in doubtful things when you know Islam is the only way you can find total inner peace and contentment in.

The statement that Allah is eternal and absolute, and that everything that came into existence (including the concept of time as we know it) starts from His ability to will things into being - has a clear basis, it is the only credible model when compared to all others since all others lack an answer to a cause and the laws that define actions and interactions of material elements.
When one takes the time to think deeply enough, and to compare all other hypotheses/theories, only the clear Islamic answer makes sense, and any arguments attempting to refute it stem not from a clear and unbiased observation and comparison - but from lust and whim.

Are you really going to take a chance with this. What are the chances out of the quintillions of chances that the universe could be as perfect for human life as it is. Even scientist are baffled about why gravity is such a weaker force compared to the other forces. That chance that you may think the universe started from is the chance that this theory could even be correct. Do you see what a gamble your making with your life. Islam gives us an answer and brings the truth. Believing in a creator is way more probable then the gamble some people are ready to take. A lot of people have a hard time believing in it and these people are the disbelievers who reject the truth. Believing in god is way more logical then believing in that kind of wack probability. Astonishingly well before telescopes were even invented and well before Hubble published his Law, Prophet Muhammad used to recite a verse of the Quran to his companions that ultimately stated that the universe is expanding.

“And the heaven We created with might, and indeed We are (its) expander.” (Quran 51:47)

At the time of the revelation of the Quran, the word “space” was not known, and people used the word “heaven” to refer to what lies above the Earth. In the above verse, the word “heaven” is referring to space and the known universe. The verse points out that space, and thus the universe, happens to be expanding, just as Hubble’s Law states.

There are many instances in the Quran where scientific and linguistic miracles are found. Some people say that this is all by chance as well that prophet Muhammad (saw) got this right as well but with the numerous amounts of miracles being discovered chances of these being "chances" continues to decrease and rather it being straight up facts or the truth. The chances as you can see here believing in a creator and Islam to be more specific is therefor a lot more probable then believing in "the chance that the universe begun" and there's no way you should accept hell whilst still alive. You can come back to the truth, the firm believe of Islam. Allah is merciful turn back to him while you still can. What will happen to apstates?

    Thank you for your thoughts.

Is it chance do you think I'm replying to you? Or do you think it is a chance that you're here having replied to me earlier? The logical mind cannot accept that we made these decisions at random because we both decided to be here in these moments sharing this space for a purpose. Can randomness then be an explanation for perfect order in the cosmos?

In your daily life, you may have need of a pen. But if that pen stops working, you throw it away. If you buy a sandwich wrapped in tin foil or other paper, you throw it away once you're done eating the sandwich. You may buy a cup in which to drink coffee, but, if it breaks, you throw it away. In each specific example, after the specific object has serves its ostensible purpose and can no longer do so, it is thrown away. So, if humankind has no purpose for which it exists on the earth, other than to die as is evident from a clear rational-based linear chronological perspective, then each life has been a waste, including your own, and everything and everyone in this world is expendable and equally deserving of being thrown away. Does your logical mind accept that your life is a waste, that you are a waste, that everything and everyone in this world is expendable and all deserving then of being thrown away? What is the purpose in existing if existence is meaningless? Why must you or I live? Indeed, why not just die right now because that is our ultimate function, dying?

Indeed, if we only live to die, then hurrying this process along is in fact the best and most charitable act we can do for both ourselves and all others ultimately because all human beings needlessly suffer and toil in life, and relieving that suffering has to be defined then as both the highest good and the highest pinnacle of logic. In fact, to kill others then is not an act of evil but an act of benevolence. Death is relief and freedom. Life is torture and prison. So, Mao, Stalin, Hitler are all figures deserving of reverence, and figures like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela who did not kill nor desire to be killed
in this life are worthy of the utmost contempt. Also, then, since you're accepting no higher power exists, then following all of this logic further, the highest good then must be in creating the stage for all humankind to be wiped out; any and all who object to this, at least from a logical perspective, must accept themselves then to be seen as the most illogical people because they're willing and desiring for human beings (including themselves) to suffer in life and that too when all humans only live to die. Does your logical mind accept this basic logic?

Or perhaps your thinking is not basic, not logical. Despite the optics of the the situation, human beings are not functionally logical creatures. You and I and other human beings are a strange maelstrom of emotion, sensory drama, trauma, and logic is not anywhere at the top of how we make decisions. So, understand that logic is not driving you away from Islam; something else is. Figure out what that is.

If I handed you a crystal clear glass of drinking water, would you be able to tell that I'd added salt? Unless you'd tasted the water, I imagine not. Why though can't you see this naked truth with your eye? Is it because you're mentally deficient or is it because you have not the right tools? That is an analogy to the spiritual world, which we cannot see as yet with our naked eye because we have not the right tools despite us as human beings not being mentally deficient.

You have asked what is the proof of the Qur'an being of divine origin. I provided you two videos to watch, and I do hope you exert yourself and watch them, for even non-Muslims who've watched the videos have found them instructional, inspiring, and profound. InshaAllah you will too, but you need to make efforts. To learn, you'll always be required to pay a cost: That cost accrues in time, energy, and willingness to struggle. Are you willing to struggle? And if so, to what extent? Remember one truth: Sincerity counts no costs. And insincerity counts no victories.

    Sincere Regards & Best Wishes,
