    Conversion prevented

    Report bad ads?

Ok guys it’s been a while since I’ve been on but I’ve thought a lot about this. One of the things that prevents me from accepting Islam is that Islam says that Jesus was never crucified but it was made to look like he was. If that’s true then it seems like God played the biggest trick on man that anyone has ever played. I’ve found many different writings by ancient scholars that says he was or at least a man from Nazareth named Jesus was put on the cross but I’ve never had anyone explain to me in any certain terms that he wasn’t. Plz someone help me understand this.

    Re: Conversion prevented

Some sources say the man who betrayed Jesus (as) was made to look like him and he was crucified while Jesus (as) descended into heaven without dying waiting for the descent of the dajjal (antichrist) so he may come to earth, kill dajjal, and rule for 40 (or 45 ?) years. others say it was a friend of jesus who offered his life and allah made him look like jesus. either way, the dajjal will deceive people into thinking he's God, but at the end when Jesus returns he will "kill the swine, abolish the jizya, and break the cross" meaning establish islam, break all enmity between religions, and convert all christians to islam.

also, it could be that since muslims and christians are the largest groups, they will make jesus's affair easier, since they share him as a prophet, and will unite to reform the world.

also, nouman ali khan, explains that the corruption of christianity and its imposter, the materialistic aspects of western and other civilizations in current world, driven by greed, selfishness, and power mania and inhumanity and injustice, and consumerism, could be caused by the flaws in christianity itself leading to a frustration by intellectuals with christianity itself thus leading to their projection of their anger onto ALL religions, especially islam, since islam is the truth, and thus forming a predajjalic system. the dajjal will be an individual who will spread corruption for a time until jesus comes to kill him and restore his name. the reason the first 10 verses of surat kahf (chapter the cave) protect against dajjal, according to NAK is that they talk about how ascribing children to God is an outrageous lie, and thus this contradictory to our innate human nature lie led to the dajjal himself, so when you see him, it is advised to recite it to him if you can not run, then he will be weakened, then run. because it is his weakness.

What I know is that followers of Jesus a.s. at his time knew this happened as they were with him and the "trick" happened in front of disbelievers' eyes - Jews and Romans

How is that a trick? Isa as (Jesus) did not have much followers unfortunately. The true believers knew the truth. Romans, Jews and other non-believers who wanted to see him dead (which was the majority of the people) saw the false Jesus executed and thought it was him. They were non-believers anyway.
And of course, their version of the story massively gained popularity, because of the Romans...and the truth became lost.

As a matter of facts, many things Jesus said became lost, because people did not feel like acting unto it.
If it did, Christianity should be almost the same as Judaism, with circumcision, kosher food, no alcohol, etc.

The key issue here is that a god cannot be crucified. A god does not die and is not to be buried like human beings. Thus the Qur'an condemns Christians for regarding Jesus عليه السلام as a god:

Those who say, ‘God is the Messiah, son of Mary,’ have defied God. The Messiah himself said, ‘Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord.’ If anyone associates others with God, God will forbid him from the Garden, and Hell will be his home. No one will help such evildoers. [Qur'an 5:72]

A man being put on the cross is not a reason to start worshipping him. There were other Prophets of God who were actually killed by people but, again, this did not make them deserving of worship.

With the sending of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and the revelation of the Qur'an, the true facts concerning the above incident were made evident. God informed us that Jesus عليه السلام was neither killed nor crucified, and this is the most certain proof of that. God supports His Messengers and protects them by His grace and might in whatever way He chooses.

    Greetings,

The reason why they the enemies of the believers perceived it to be Jesus was because they tried to unjustly kill him. So God made it look to them as if the one they were crucifying was Jesus. However the believers knew that it wasn't Jesus and that he had been taken by God before they could kill him and someone else was put into his place. There are differing opinions as to who the person who took his place was. However the point is that the real deceivers were those who changed and twisted the teachings of Jesus after him to suit their own agendas. This is confirmed many atimes in the scriptures how the priests sold their souls for a cheap price and measley gain.

Also modern day Christianity does not follow the teachings of Jesus. They in fact follow the teachings of Paul. Whose teachings abrogated that of the teachings of Jesus. However in Islam the teachings of the previous Prophets are completely preserved and the last Prophet was the seal of all the Prophets before him (May the peace and blessings of God be upon him and all the previous Prophets).

    Re: Conversion prevented

The issue is that your saying that Allah played the biggest trick - here in Islam, it is the Sinful people that lead themselves astray and they have done it so many times like when Phaorah refusing to accept Islam after seeing the staff turning into the snake.

What sinful people do regularly is be foolish and lay out their own plans -and so at times, Allah allows them to believe they have succeeeded -such as when arrows are thrown to the skies and they are returned with blood and the sinful people think they have killed the Lord of the Worlds.

Today what is happening is the biggest that I have seen sinful people leading each other astray-they think they are in control- when they see people restricted (like some won't be able to just go out and get firewood and catch their own food) - they think that people are beholden onto them -they think that people are in their control. They think they can mess with people's lives and everything is going to continue-but here they have even passed numerous bad laws-society levels and think they have plenty of time. It is rather that it is up to Allah how long people have-they are not here to pay taxes, but to heed his message. These countries around the world will finish (muslims and non-Muslims alike).

When the people plotted to kill the Prophet Jesus peace be upon him- Allah simply allowed them to believe they had done that (that in their mind they thought they saw the Prophet). He has not died but is in Heaven (the Christians say body is not in Heaven -but Prophet Adam peace be upon him and his wife were), Prophet Jesus peace be upon him is not going to get a new body. People will meet him in Damascus. This is the Major signs of the Day of Judgement (there are the wrong things written-getting confused with respite that people have, after they have had the test of the Dajjal-but this is only temporary as the Gog and Magog are coming). No Prophet would ever return to this world and lead people astray by telling them to build a new state, but living temporarily -wouldn't care what your house looks like, colour clothes etc. The Dajjal and the Prophet Jesus peace be upon him won't be appearing on TV -all this will finish before.

There is nothing wrong about Allah allowing people to believe they had the upper hand. This is a regular thing, even the smallest that people think they can do what they want.
