The Quran itself claims that it is perfect (Sura 85:21-22). Therefore, if even one error is found in the text, the Quran is proven to be false. Can someone please explain this Sura to me?
In Surah at-Taubah, 9:30, it states:
And the Jews say, "Ezra is the Son of God;"
and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the Son of God."
Christians do believe that Jesus is the Son of God, however Jews do not believe that Ezra is the Son of God. And please note that it does not say "a" Son of God, but the grammtical constructions reads the Son of God, definite article.

Furthermore, it cannot be said that there were "some" Jews at one point in time in History that believed that Ezra was the Son of God since there is a definite article before the titles "Jews" and "Christians", thus it refers to the Christians and Jews in GENERAL. Any orthodox Jew or Rabbi will tell you that this statement is FALSE. This is clearly an error in the Quran and the Quran claims to be the perfect word of God, someone care to explain?
Anways, reading other verses shows this is not a generalization, because a party of jews and christians were saved by a rope from God (book) and rope from men (appointed guide).
Other verses show those amomg jews and chritians with proper belief in God and did good, would be rewarded.
Ofcourse, looking at a verse in isolation is something everyone likes to do with Quran these days.
For example, people say Quran says you can be friends with anyone other then muslims (even chrisitans, jews). But other verses show those verses prohibiting friendship were not general to all christians, jews or polythiests, they were particular only to those who fight and kill us.
