And I always see some anti-islam people quote his works,
Anyone who can clue me up on him?
Ibn Ishaq was a great Tabi'ee and trustworthy. He has compiled several works, most famous one is called the Seerat Rasulullaah. Many of the Muhadithoon (hadeeth specialists) said he was trustworthy apart from Bukharee (due an unfound accusation of him being a Qadari).
In terms of seerah and chronicles (war), he is acknowledged for his mastery, however, one must know most of these chronicles are without sanad. He states that in his book.
The problem with the anti-Islamic writers is that they often use the translated statements of his work which are riddled with inaccuracies.
Oh Isee so he is a good guy but got stuff half of hadeeth.
And also on top of that people mis translate his work.
I mean I seen people quote him and say that Mohammed called people peanut heads and n words and so on. you know what I mean.
EDIT: So basically, things were collected without them being authenticated and then a biography was made?
So these biographies aint really nothing important as such since they aint have the same science as ahadeeth

The path is long but I hope we meet,
After the grave and the Day, in paradise in bliss upon a reclined seat.
A traveler traveling - travelled from shirk to tawheed,
If I'm remembered for anything - let it be the Mercy I seek.
