God put Bush in charge, says the general hunting bin Laden
    By David Rennie
    Last Updated: 1:11am BST 17/10/2003

The general leading the hunt for Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein has publicly declared that the Christian God is "bigger" than Allah, who is a false "idol", and believes the war on terrorism is a fight with Satan, it emerged yesterday.
    ...
Gen Boykin, the newly promoted deputy undersecretary of state of defence for intelligence.
    ...
Gen Boykin has repeatedly told Christian groups and prayer meetings that President George W Bush was chosen by God to --fight against Satan.

In January, he told --about a victory over a Muslim warlord --- "I knew my God was bigger than his. I knew that my God was a real god and his was an idol,"

with a photograph of the Somalian capital Mogadishu bearing a strange dark mark. He has said this showed . . . a demonic presence in that city that God revealed ---

On the Middle East, Gen Boykin ----" [Islamic] radicals will hate us forever."

The disclosures Muslim critics ---war on terrorism is a crusade against Islam. ---------------------------------------------------

The sister poses a point. Unless you have a source for this, please do not post such things, because it does nothing but mislead people (if it is true) and ruffle peoples' feathers

Re: a great refutation, so the speaker thinks

    It's 4 years old.

    But surely this is true.
On the Middle East, Gen Boykin ----" [Islamic] radicals will hate us forever."
    And
The disclosures Muslim critics ---war on terrorism is a crusade against Islam.
That is as true as Islam is a crusade for terrorism.

    And of course:
"I knew my God was bigger than his.
Which is bacally what everyone thinks. Expecially just having read about the "Stupid" stuff Christians believe.

But a link would be nice to see the whole story.

I think this would be important because if The american soldiers believe muslims are satan. Ofcourse then they would not consider any muslim INNOCENT.

Considering that he never said Muslims are Satan, why would American Soldiers believe that?

That would lead me to assume that you believe that American soldiers are totally incapable of an independent thought.

    But thanks for the link.

Some Muslims say we are the Great Satan, do you think that could make things turn ugly?

Besides it is truly ugly anyway.

    Da? Did I see 9/11? Na, I'm only 3.

The poster is one of those "Hit and run" guys.

So lets look at a couple of other statements.
In his public remarks, Boykin has also said that radical Muslims who resort to terrorism are not representative of the Islamic faith.
He has compared Islamic extremists to "hooded Christians" who terrorized blacks, Catholics, Jews and others from beneath the robes of the Ku Klux Klan.
"They are constantly trying to create the impression that the Jews and Christians are getting together to beat up on Islam.... We have to be very careful that this doesn't become a clash between religions, a clash of civilizations."
I wonder why he left those out?
Maybe because they did not support his distorted stance.
