    Re: Prophet Muhammad in the Bible

    Only if your post did not compeltly mistranslate, misquote, and take the Tanakh out of context... Maybe I would have an inch more respect for someone who could prove a point without deception.

    Your post is laughable at best. I noticed so many mistranslated Hebrew words right away, it makes me wonder. Does the writer have a mental disability?

    Re: Prophet Muhammad in the Bible

    Even if the above is true or 'mistranslated' as you say, you know that Muhammad came with the Truth. No, you recognize the Truth as you do your own sons but you are in denial. How far will your denial take you?

    2: 146. Those to whom We gave the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognise him (Muhammad) as they recongise their sons. But verily, a party of them conceal the truth while they know it - [i.e. the qualities of Muhammad which are written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)].

    2: 111. And they say, "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." These are their own desires. Say (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ), "Produce your proof if you are truthful."

    26: 196. And verily, it (the Qur'an, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad ) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people.

    26: 197. Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?

    Why do we have to work extra hard to prove Islam is the final and true religion?....... the scriptures are made plain for all to see... we have fulfilled our civic duties by posting it and making it readily available...... no Kabal network or secret exclusive clubs, no favoritism..... as the old adage goes... , "you can lead a horse to to water but you can't make him drink."

    I don't think you understand.

    • I have counted error upon error in your posts about the Tanakh which include mistranslation, take out of context, and plain and simple creations of words...
    • You claim Muhammod to be a sucessor of Jesus yet Jesus was no more than a fake as well since he did not fufil any of the requirements to be a prophet or Moshiach.
    • You quote the Quran, which isn't accepted as anything holy to me, so the verses have no impact.

    Re: Prophet Muhammad in the Bible

    Akhi, soon he will come to know what he is denying. There is only so much one can invite, when the other is persisting on disbelief. Perhaps there are others who will listen Inshallah.

    6: 25. And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they see every one of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."

    6: 26. And they prevent others from him (from following Prophet Muhammad saws 1 - Prophet Muhammad in the Bible) and they themselves keep away from him, and (by doing so) they destroy not but their ownselves, yet they perceive (it) not.

    2: 17. Their likeness is as the likeness of one who kindled a fire; then, when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness. (So) they could not see.

    2: 18. They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the Right Path).

    7:
    179. And surely, We have created many of the jinns and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones.

    Smile What the Bible Says about Muhammad (PBUH)

    Please provide the Biblical verse for this claim.

    According to the Bible, God said to Moses, on whom be peace: " I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers, I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them 'everything I command him" (Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18).

    The prophet described in the above verse must have the following three characteristics:

    1. He will be like Moses.
    2. He will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.
    3. God, Almighty, will put his words in the mouth of the prophet and he will declare what God, Almighty, commanded him.

    Let us see which prophet God, Almighty, was speaking of.
    1. The prophet like Moses.

    Some people feel that this prophecy refers to the prophet Jesus, on whom be peace. But, although Jesus was truly a prophet of God, Almighty, he is not the prophet spoken of here. He was born miraculously, and finally God, Almighty, raised him up miraculously. On the other hand, Muhammad (SAWS) is more like Moses, on whom be peace ; both were born in a natural way and both died natural deaths.

    2. From among the Ishmaelite, Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac (Genesis, chapter 21).
    Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation. And Isaac became the grandfather of Jewish nation. The prophet spoken of was to come not from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, the Ishmaelite. Muhammad a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed that prophet.

    3. God, Almighty, will put his words in his mouth, " Neither the content of the revelation, nor its form, were of Muhammad's devising. Both were given by the angel, and Muhammad's task was only to repeat what he heard" (Word Religions from Ancient history to the Present, by Geoffrey Parrinder, p.472).

    God, Almighty, sent the angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad the exact words that he should repeat to the people. The words are therefore not his own; they did not come from his own thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the angel. These are written down in the Qur'an word for word, exactly as they came from God, Almighty.

    Now that we know that prophet, we must listen to him, for, according to the Bible, God says: 'I will punish anyone who refuses to obey him' (Good News Bible, Deut. 18:19).

    Re: Prophet Muhammad in the Bible

    (Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18).
    This verse is obviously from the Old Testament. If you maintain that God said this to Moses, and if according to the previous post, that it was from Jesus, then you are clearly inferring the Diety of Jesus.

    [35] On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things). [36] Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did?

    yup........ today I was just thinking of those verses as I read another deragatory post about Muslims...
    they said it is "getting ridiculous" they can't even make a play mocking the prophet because they are afraid of death threats... we aren't compatible with their "freedom" especially with the subservient women behind the veils that go against all that women had worked hard for especially in the 60's and 70'..... we are "uncivilized" and there is a major clash between our backwrdedness and their progress........ they were grateful the pope spoke out....... though they were unhappy with the response they received from the Muslim world... in other words we should just accept the BS and shut up!.... they were/are looking to inflame and marginalize us... they wage a cyber/news and physical war and we are just supposed to accept it? still with all this hatred that seems insurmountable to me.... people convert to Islam every day so all I can say is Allahu Akbar min kol kabeer........none of these people will be here a 100 yrs from now.........To God we shall all return.......

    [Pickthal 50:43] Lo! We it is Who quicken and give death, and unto Us is the journeying.

    يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ذَلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ {44}
    [Pickthal 50:44] On the day when the earth splitteth asunder from them, hastening forth (they come). That is a gathering easy for Us (to make).

    نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ {45}
    [Pickthal 50:45] We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat.

    Re: Prophet Muhammad in the Bible

    hello...dougmusr...

    This verse is obviously from the Old Testament. If you maintain that God said this to Moses, and if according to the previous post, that it was from Jesus, then you are clearly inferring the Diety of Jesus.
    ....mmmmm...

    we talk about Holy Bible or ....?

    ......why All these Authenticity ....??.

    Concerning the Authenticity of the Bible....

    peace,

    [Pickthal 50:36] And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were mightier than these in prowess so that they overran the lands! Had they any place of refuge (when the judgment came)?

    [Pickthal 50:37] Lo! therein verily is a reminder for him who hath a heart, or giveth ear with full intelligence.

    [Pickthal 50:38] And verily We created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six Days, and naught of weariness touched Us.

    [Pickthal 50:39] Therefor (O Muhammad) bear with what they say, and hymn the praise of thy Lord before the rising and before the setting of the sun;

    [Pickthal 50:40] And in the night-time hymn His praise, and after the (prescribed) prostrations.

    [Pickthal 50:41] And listen on the day when the crier crieth from a near place,

    [Pickthal 50:42] The day when they will hear the (Awful) Cry in truth. That is the day of coming forth (from the graves).

    [Pickthal 50:43] Lo! We it is Who quicken and give death, and unto Us is the journeying.

    [Pickthal 50:44] On the day when the earth splitteth asunder from them, hastening forth (they come). That is a gathering easy for Us (to make).

    [Pickthal 50:45] We are Best Aware of what they say, and thou (O Muhammad) art in no wise a compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an him who feareth My threat.
    إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ {37} وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ {38} فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ {39} وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ {40} وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ {41} يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ الصَّيْحَةَ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُرُوجِ {42} إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيرُ {43} يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ذَلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ {44} نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ {45}
