presenting "Description of paradise" in.... need some ideas

As title says your ideas are needed on presenting Description of paradise by ibn al Qayyim in a drwaing/painting

I do not think anyone should try to draw "paradise." No eyes have seen it and we better leave it to our imagination (guided by description from Quran) on how it looks like.

I personally do not really see any beauty in rivers of milk, but Allah swt has said it so, it must mean something, I dont know what, and neither should we humans put it into "painting."

Take your time about it (even if it takes more than a few months), but i think we can help you on the plan abit more.

1 - We know the drawing has to cover alot of different scenes (because ibn al qayyim's description of jannah is extremely detailed), so do you want to work on many descriptions all in one big picture, or lots of smaller pictures with different scenes in?

2 - Remember the details don't have to be too much, they just have to signify that object so when people look at it - they can relate and remember that description. I want to print it and share it with loads of people for different purposes (dawah, heart softeners etc) with the ibn al qayyim poem written at the back. So people can look at it and be amazed, and maybe even strive more for Allah's beautiful Paradise, we ask Him to enter us into it soon with ease, ameen.

So right now the main plan should be how it should be layed out and what details you feel you should cover in the scene. Once organisation of what should be added is complete, we can think about where in the picture each thing should be placed...

I have to agree with Br. cosmic .. it is what no eyes have seen nor ears have heard etc. The etymology of the word Jannah itself means that which is hidden from sight..
however if you must make sure it has no sun.. there's no sun in heaven all the light will be from the throne.. I hate the cheesy & cartoonish depiction folks have of it. Whatever you do will be limited by the individual imagination anyway..so stick with something nondescript ..
