Please do not use this thread as a discussion for "halal and haram" images . . . there are many, many varying opinions on this and this thread is (obviously) intended for those who think animal photography is halal or who think that digital images of living beings is halal. If you are opposed to it, I ask that you please either avoid this thread or please post your objections in one of the many threads where people have discussed this in the past.
(Unless the moderators have a problem with this, of course, in which case by all means, remove the thread and I apologize in advance. )
I got a new camera yesterday and took it to the local zoo to take pictures of some of Allah's creations. The pictures that are super-close-ups of African animals are taxidermy; I could not be that fortunate to get such poses as a general rule!
I'll have to make several posts as the forum only allows the uploading of three images per post.
Love the photos....and that goose one! Wonder what it is with the bad-tempers they all seem to have? And I really like how the bears look like they are sitting at the table like little (or rather big) people.
Animals and the natural world in general are just so mesmerizingly beautiful ma'sha'Allah, you could watch them for hours and reflect on the beauty of Allah's creation. In a garden of course you'll find the more domestic sort - chickens, squirrels, foxes...but still fun to watch.
