Let me share a life of a human
Hopefully we gain self-reflection
Something taken as a lesson
Insha'Allah for us to learn
A baby was born and taken care
Small and fragile naked and bare
Slowly she grows into a toddler
Free of worries a little wonder
To be happy she was told to strife
To be successful she was taught to struggle
For they say money and power is life
Human has the power to toggle
She complete her task
To top the class
She won the prize
After all the strive
Beauty and intelligence all she posses
Winning the title young and success
Thinking that she is so capable
She can turn this life like lifting a table
Big House, handphone, car indeed
Is that all to satisfy her needs?
End of the month the bills came
Nothing less but back to the same
She works hard to live in luxury
Every month bills take her salary
So from day to nite and today till tomorrow
All her so called happy life is indeed a sorrow
She wonders for a moment and starts to think
Still lacking something
Unhappy and feeling unsafe
Is she being an ungrateful slave?
Slave... a small word with wide meaning
She ponders with deep thinking
So who is the true Master?
Is it money and power?
She work so hard for money
To be you know, "somebody"
To show off to people all her wealth
Not even to bother for her health
So one day she falls sick
All the money was use for medical
She shivers whenever the clock starts to tick
Crying hard in the little cubicle
To be "somebody" she strive for wealth
She even forget all about her health
When her health fails she sacrifes her wealth
And now none indeed was left
Why must she suffer in this way
After working hard all day
She has forget the ultimate aim
And from where that she came.
Is this life to struggle for money?
And to live this life in luxury?
Work all day to be rich today
Forgeting the lifeater and the doomsday
So at last after being the slave to this world
One will end up miserable in the grave world
Where's the money and where's the status?
Now that you have become like a dead corpse
Beauty fades and the skin wrinkles
Her body is cold and she trembles
Now she lies cold on her bed
Surrendering herself whatever it takes
Oh! What can her money and status do
To help her out of this blue
The more you give, the more you get.
The more you laugh, the less you fret.
The more you do unselfishly,
The more you live abundantly.
The more of everything you share,
The more you'll always have to spare.
