asalaamualaikum evry1!
one of my passions is writing, and poetry, so thought would share some
work wit all y'all
(all criticism welcome!!! here goes)


temptation the game :-X

Satan whispers to those who hear
in a sweet voice that seems so near
Temptation the name
Betrayal the game
corroding the skin like an acid rain
All is sound and night so clear
All who surrender will share the fear
cries of pain
all of the shame
sex, drugs and ravin' thier previous aims
Satan lures those who listen
yet on the last day his face wont glisten
Mercy is craved
who Allah saves
are allowed into Jannah this final day
Allah shall bless whom he choses
The man rejected the one who loses
no more of the fame
for he who is saved
Jannah and Love forever shall stay



WHO IS OPRESSED?

OPRESSED, DISTRESSED, POSSESSED, HOPELESS
the words used to describe our dress
Yes sisters wear Hijab & Jilbab
and Yes we dont need tha bentley you have
We dont need diamonds, gucci or prada
All we need is the Blessing of Allah

We'v seen the light and guidance
We dont need disguises to hide us
We wear our dress in honour not stress
still u believe u the ones that kno best

You laugh, curse, sleep around & play
dont u kno ul be in a hurse one day
and when u are what can u do?
dont u kno its Allah that can save u?

so become wise
or its ur demise
we sistrs n brothrs have opend our eyes
which sin is worse?
who can tell?
is it the rape u do? or tha drugs u sell?
listen to Allahs messages and listen well
"laa ilaaha illallaahu"
... or rest in hell



That Day

look out the window, what do u see?
boys playing football using language obscene
a girl runs, and falls, scraping her knee
A world Allah created for u... and for me

locked in a dark room, "who is there?"
All is silent, ur blind, satans aware.
can it be u live life this way
blind to Allahs promise of the final day?

The right hand or left?
ALL pray for the right
To hold our life story, an end to respite
Satan shall laugh at those who were weak
who left a path fit for their feet

Yet Allah shall choose who to save
and we all live in fear, untill that day............

To be frank, there's some good stuff written there alright.

What you might want to do is look at each bit again and try polish up the words. At the moment, to much of it is broken. As I see it anyway.

Sounds very urban like though.
