Write a concise religious and historical summery, in English, of the entire Life of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him). This is to be aimed at people like me, reverts/converts with no previous knowledge of Islam. Arabic concepts are to be briefly explained.
5,000 word is not a lot as 1,000 words is about four pages of single spaced type. So you have to get all in to just twenty pages.
This must be a new piece - it cannot be plagiarism. You can quote from other sources as long as the references are given.
The deadline is one month from today.
I would like two Brothers and two Sisters please to volunteer to judge the entrys. In case of a split decicion I reserve to have the casting vote. We can also decide what the prize or prizes will be.
We will be looking of course for accuracy first and foremost, but after that it's style, respect, grammar and ease of reading that counts.
