My mum saw me with hijab

    Report bad ads?

my mother saw me with hijab. After praying, I always find it so comfortable to start my hijab. then she saw me and was freaked out and pulled it out with full force and said that I do not want to see again. but the thing is that I have decided to wear normal hijab but unfortunately it does not work because otherwise I'll be kicked out at home. I affront women or girls wearing headscarves as often as possible, but they can exploit it and still be with each other. Why is the world so unfair I'm doing everything for Islam and have such a stress with my stupid family but everyone else can do what he wants. i hate it why i have such a bad luck

Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu

Be patient sister and hang in there. Yes at the moment you are facing difficulties wearing hijab but things wont always be like this, you have your whole life as a Muslim ahead of you inshaAllah

May Allah make things easy for you to practice his deen

Re: My mum saw me with hijab

    Asalamualykum,

If you are living at home and your mum is not allowing you to wear your hijaab then this is better for you. You rather not wear hijaab than be homeless. Be practical. Also wearing the hijaab is not conpulsory when they are no ghayr mehram around i.e. men you can marry.

Why don't you be smart and wear a beanie or hat when you are outside so most of your hair is covered and in time when the situation allows you to do so you can practise Islam. Did you know when Islam first came into existence this is what the new muslims did. They practised Islam in secret. So please look after yourself and don't make any rash decisions. Be kind and respectful to your mum.

Pain and hardships allow you to grow spiritually Alhamdulilah so smile when a so called calamity befalls upon you.
Alhamdulilah Allah swt is the greatest.

Re: My mum saw me with hijab

The situation you are in is unfortunate. It is a challenge, but I am sure you will overcome it.
I would suggest that until you are ready to move out try to avoid confrontation with your mother. Yes hijab is important for you you to wear, but there are far important things. Having a s strong faith and praying as required is more important. Beside, you do not want to be kicked out of your home. Make sure you dress modestly and try to cover yourself as much as possible but without wearing a scarf as to not anger your mother.

Hopefully, in time, you mother will change her view and understand that wearing hijab is not an affront to women. It is quite the opposite. It is simply us following the will of Allah and doing as we are suppose to do. But there is no point in clashing with you mother over this, specially not right away. Get stronger in your faith, get more independent from your parents, then you will be able to wear hijab.
