7.81GB is kinda low. Is this how you've partitioned it or is the physical drive that size? Have you considered buying a new hard drive? I don't think they are very expensive. Here in the UK 1TB (1000GB) is about £50. You don't need that much, even 250GB should enough for you.
I was just reading through the old comments and how times have changed. It went down to £60 for about 2TB recently, but since the floods in Thailand hard drive prices have rocketed to like £150 for 2TB. Hope everyone's ok for storage
Chrome may be fast but firefox is much stable, i feel. Chrome doesn't even support RSS feeds out of the box.
Hmm I've found the opposite. Chrome is lighter, faster, more stable, and less hassle since it updates itself. I guess everyone has their own preference, so trying each one is the only way to know for sure.
Chrome is from google, which means you can bet everything you are searchiing is being added to your profile they have built of you. Which is why it's better to not have gmail or use chrome or even google if possible. Other email servers like yahoo allow the FBI to look in your inbox for a certain fee but they also delete back up from servers after some time. With google, everything stays in their servers forever. If you are concerned about privacy then open source software, like firefox, is the bet way to go.
I use Chrome and I left Firefox for everyone else in my home. Chrome is fast and lighter but it's not stable as Firefox is on my Ubuntu machine. Also it doesn't update automatically on my system.

Everything you do is being tracked, unless you are using multiple proxies and then it's possible to be tracked.

True, there is no absolute privacy online. But still, some privacy is better than none. Would you rather have blinds on your windows so others can't see in your house or have nothing and say "just don't go in front of the windows"
