Many embedded forum images are in disarray due to an image hosting forum suddenly deciding to not display embedded images
It is certain that they know that other conpanies host images for free or at reasonable prices, and that a lot of people or companies who've already invested time linking and especially embedding images are going to be in a blackmail scenario.
hopefully this attempt will be looked into as to legality and reasonability.
Does anyone know how it would be possible to recreate and restore all image links posted on forums without too much effort?
Is it possible to download link info attached to image metadata in bulk so that we can just make new albums and edit the main website name in the links or at least know which pic to place where without continuously having to click on image links to visually check and then search through our albums?
Are there any known software programs that have the ability to bulk auto-switch links?
I'm talking about almost a decade of forum and email links.
I know photobucket is a business but surely there ought to be mechanisms in place to allow people who've invested tens/hundreds/thousands of hours uploading and linking images to bulk view link-backs and redirect already built links to other more reasonable hosts or to their own servers.
Any tips on how to fix this?
