This forum needs to change (OP)

    Salaam and peace to all

This forum is getting more restrictive each day and needs a mental change to better itself. Mods delete the posts and close the threads very easily considering them violating the forum rules but in most cases they do not and the deletion is a personal subjective decision most of the time. If this mentality does not change it seems to me the forum will be a desolate “muslim club”. There needs to be more nonmuslim members for more beneficial discussions. Every discussion with a nonmuslim is a chance of dawah.

A sincere warning to the forum staff..

As I said, Uzair is mentioned in the Qur'an, he was a righteous person. Prophet or not, we don't know for sure. In both cases, you cannot criticize someone whom Allah has honored.

What is the evidence that Uzair is Ezra? And what is the evidence that Uzair was righteous?

By the way, I looked up Uzair in Wikipedia and found this:

Ibn Hazm, an Andalusian Muslim scholar, explicitly accused Ezra of being a liar and a heretic who falsified and added interpolations into the Biblical text.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzair#...n_of_scripture

Would you prevent Ibn Hazm from posting his views to this forum?

I think this forum is doing a very decent job. The one you mentioned unfortunately has certain individuals with insecurity issues which lead the place to become what it has become. Before them that place was very decent.

But that is the cycle of life. Things go up and come down. In shaa Allaah this forum has its best days still ahead of it.
