October 26 is National Pink Hijab Day. This event raises awareness for breast cancer, and is a fundraiser for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Also, we hope the event will encourage people who are curious about women in Islam and hijab to ask questions. This is a way for Muslim women who wear hijab to be active in the communities. We ask that everyone who wears the pink hijab on this day donates $5 or more to the Susan G Komen foundation .To those who may not wear hijab and still want to help out, please donate $5 or more to the foundation.
Wear a Pink Hijab for:
Da'wah...people will wonder why everyone is wearing a pink hijab!
Unity...other Muslim sisters all over will be wearing one
Breast Cancer!...October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month!
Guys, a pink kufi will do it, and if that doesn't work, a pink ribbon is okay.
This sounded like an interesting idea, posted it up here in case other people want to try it.. Those that don't live in the US could always donate to a local breast cancer research foundation.
If I could find a shirt like that here I'd wear it!
Lol yeh I think the bro sells em only in the UK.
But back on topic, Pink Hijab? Good idea but not for me...U'll get the whole world looking at you when the hijab is meant to protect you from such glances
It doesn't have to be neon pink..
Personally, I find that black or gray hijabs don't differ from other colors, like blue, green, pink, etc. But each to their own opinion, I guess.

the brothers have to wear pink too.......isnt that a bit....pardon me...gayyyyy
Well, if you believe that certain colors should only be allowed for certain genders, then you may think that guys wearing pink is gay..
I don't though, so I think it's cool!
because this is basically somethin to attract attention to all muslim girls
and the whole purpose of hayaa' is to stay away from attention... :|
Well, I guess that's a valid point, that if everyone is wearing a pink hijab it might attract some extra attention..
But I don't think simply wearing a pink colored hijab would attract any more or less attention than a different color would, provided it's not neon pink.. something like this:
pink is nothing compared to the attention red attracts...... *burns red hijaab, vows never to wear agen*...seriously some men....it was described twice as 'cool', i mean what the.....
bottom line, never wear red.
My heart, so precious,
I won't trade for a hundred thousand souls.
