Well, being a 'front line staff' in the health service I was offered the H5N1 vaccine - and I took up the offer and had the vaccination this morning.
I have the seasonal flu jab every year. Not so much for my sake, but for the sake of the people I work with on a daily basis - many are physically weak and are prone to infections and illnesses.
Usually I have no ill effects, apart from the vaccination site feeling a little sore for a couple of days.
I can let you know how I get on following my vaccination.
So far my arm is a little tender and sore - just as expected. No other problems so far.

It's unbelievably irresponsible to encourage people not to get the jab when :
1. You haven't got a bloody clue what you're talking about. The woman in the video had a seasonal, a.k.a. normal flu jab, not swine flu.
2. The chances of developing dystonia according to the report (if indeed the vaccination caused it) are 1 in 1,000,000, while the chances of dying after catching flu are 1 in 200. I know which one I'd rather go with.
3. It seems that according to the opinion of doctors, the conditions she has is psychological and very unlikely to have been caused by the vaccination.
Half of you want to think that the West is secretly trying to poison us all anyway, so I don't know why I'm even posting this.
Of my mind this is just part of international rumors. Similar kind of stories you can find everywhere from net, not only from some islamic forums. I personally prefer to get vaccine, not that flu.

I've studied vaccines before (I'm taking the A2 Biology course), and there's inevitably going to be some side effects: however, side effcts like this are incredibly rare, as are deaths. I'm surprised you're not promoting such a cause, considering Islam places a big emphasis on curing disease.

In the 1976 Swine Flu outbreak, the vaccine killed fifty times as many people as the flu did. No wonder that many in the medical field have openly stated they will refuse the vaccine!

He keeps very up to date on the latest health news and developments. Knowing what goes into vaccines I personally find it shocking that ANYONE would chose to inject themselves or their children with these. I think it is crucial that the muslim communtiy start doing the research for themselves and stop relying on/believing in non muslim politicians (and even muslim!) who don't even seem to have their own people's best wishes at heart let alone muslims. There is no excuse for ignorance in this day and age when all the information is at our finger tips readily. The bottom line is that muslims need to take their health and well being back into our own control, and stop relying on the corrupt billion dollar pharmaceutical industries, whose business it is to keep us sick! We must educate ourselves and our children. Please do let me know your views on the subject. There is so much information available on the subject, it is difficult to sift through it all, but then do you really want to have a vaccine that contains animal blood/tissue, cancer cells, and dangerous adjuvants?
