Re: Is there a minimum age for marriage in the Holy Quran ?
Salaam,
No. There is no set age limit. The person must have reached puberty and is mentally able to get married.
I was looking at myself talking to myself and I realized this conversation...I was having with myself looking at myself was a conversation with myself that I needed to have with myself.

when I was a child my nanny/baby sitter was married when she was 13 or 14.
She was already working when she was 11. no one forced her to work and no one forced her to get married. It is clear in the old days people matured at earlier age.
Until now, our families are still in touch with hers and meet at least once a year during eid. She and her husband raised very healthy 4 children and have happy family.
By today's western standards, it would be a no no.
