That means it's coming soon on iplayer. I watched it last night on tv (and thought some others may have too). It wasn't a great documentary but it was very interesting because I hadn't seen views like this on a personal level. There were a few things in the program I hadn't even heard of (eg. shaking hands with unbelievers using the left hand), let alone seen someone doing.
I watched it last night. I found it interesting, but unfortunate that the brother was taught incorrect information. It's very easy to take advantage of people who have just joined a religion and I think that's what happened with the brother in question. Eff Anjum Chaudry; hope he goes back to Sudan!
I did read the film maker's blog entry regarding the program on the bbc3 website, which shed some more light on the situation - worth a read if anyone has watched it.
Someone said to the Prophet, "Pray to God against the idolaters and curse them." The Prophet replied, "I have been sent to show mercy and have not been sent to curse." (Muslim)
I saw this.. interesting but I didn't agree with some of the things he was saying (but i guess that is life.. everyone has their own view of things).. especially about the part of muslims not befriending non muslims - I have read the quaran and have not interpreted it as this. Some of the words in arabic can't be translated in to english - in english the word is "not to be friends".. in the arabic is says "not to be allies".. i.e. in war! I would share the youtube clip I have of Sheikh Yusuf Estes explaining this but I'm not allowed - you can type into google.. "yusuf estes being friends with non muslims"
I hope new muslims or people interested into coming to islam are not put off by this tv program!
Didn't catch all of it but, as I was watching it, I thought if a non Muslim was watching this, he/she would get a very bad impression of Muslims, and maybe think Muslims' are intolerate people who dislike/hate anyone who isn't Muslim. And that Muslims are the kind of people who will be kind to your face but inside they hate you really because your non Muslim.

I'm watching the second part on youtube and there's a part where the group is passing out flyers and one of the brothers literally smacked a man for giving him the flyer back. I can only imagine what a non-muslim who watches this would think when I'm disgusted watching this as a Muslim. But this doc does show that this convert brother is a part of minority group of Muslims.

As Christians, we feel the same way when people in the name of Jesus protest at funerals of fallen soldiers or burn Qur'ans in Florida.

Yep I think religion can definitly have that type of effect on people.
The program was good in that showed Anjam chadury and what his gang preaches - I just cant understand how people can stay in his group - looking at the guys they were all preety young maybe they might grow out of it.
Do you think the pious don't sin?
They merely:
Veiled themselves and didn't flaunt it
Sought forgiveness and didn't persist
Took ownership of it and don't justify it
And acted with excellence after they had erred - Ibn al-Qayyim
MI5 agents to stir up trouble and islamophobia, so that the British government can use the boogeyman to carry out their plans.....
Anjum choudary the wine bibber
If this guy is so dangerous....why does he get so much air time.....why does he come on talk shows.
If the government is so concerned about the youth adopting 'extremist views' and 'fundamentalism' then why not block anjum choudary from speaking on television or even better just lock him up somewhere........if the government fears that the youth will become Islamic militants why dont they give other 'moderate' Islamic speakers a platform where they can address the youth.

I was looking at myself talking to myself and I realized this conversation...I was having with myself looking at myself was a conversation with myself that I needed to have with myself.

I think its actually the other way around.
