The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake.
3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire."
This hadith reveals that if a faithful believer possesses the above mentioned three qualities, he will taste the sweetness of faith. First is: he should love Allah Almighty and obey the commands of Him following the good example of the holy Prophet PBUH. Second is: he should love other Muslims only for the sake of Allah Almighty. Another Hdith reveals that two Muslims who love each other only for the sake of Allah, will be under the shadow of the Highest Heaven of Allah when there will be no shadow but the shadow of it.
And third is: the Muslim who hates to return back to the infidelity or atheism as he hates to be thrown into the fire. All these three types of Muslims will taste the sweetness of Eman. May Allah Almighty give us power to do so, Ameen.
