I am born deaf Muslim, I came to this website, because I was hoping that there would be other Muslims with hearing impaired here, so i started this thread.
I kinda feel bad that deaf muslims are not even getting any awareness. Having searched on google about deafness in islam, there aren't really much disucssion about it.
so I kinda want to talk a bit with my brothers here.
Um, I struggle differently(in my own way) than others but similar experience. I’m in both world: deafness and hearing.
Deaf People have little differences from me because they have not meet in the way I’m living in/my life, that they do not understand why. They struggled lot more than me. I struggled of what I’m facing around people who doesn’t know much about themselves in way they have in their culture- deaf culture. My understanding of what I know about deaf culture. I’m still part of it but they think I don’t. They think I’m more into hearing world - just because I voice them and listen to their voice.
Hearing people obviously understand me clearly but most of them are not educating enough about hearing loss. For instance, they just not enough to get to know with people who lost their hearing..., that’s struggled me differently when it come to have relationship with your partners than friends or people who do understand longer.

I am interested in learning Arabic. but my commuication mode is writing, i want to go for compatilable courses. I did look into few online websites like Medina Arabic and Al Azhar Arabic. I emailed both, and waiting for their replies. meanwhile you can help me, in sha Allah.
Okay I said I would stop posting but here it goes...
Brother so youre deaf you should thank Allah it's a blessing
Well if your just trying to read the Quran and pray salah and fast heres my tips as a disabled person...
Well affective...
Take your prayer rug face the Kaaba
Do the movement of prayer recite in your heart...
Recite Quran from mushaf from your heart ...
Fasting should be easy alhamdulillah...
Just fear Allah as much as you can...
Allaah burderns no soul...
Allaah knows what you can do
Some people even have excuses not to do any duties of Islam at all..
I have schizoaffective movement disorder
So I'm always a enraged bull for no reason
The mute and deaf are blessed
I think I am accountable when my nursery is telling me I'm just a insane lame girl...

May Allah always keep healing and help you to try to do your duties.
I can recite quranic verse for prayers. I prefer writing over speaking though. Becsuse my speech isnt that good.
A great channel to benefit people who have special needs especially deaf brothers and sisters. May Allah make it easy for them to learn our beautiful religion of Islam. Ameen!
