As a previous mental health worker. A trauma has caused this mental health condition. If you recite the Qur'an, you are not possessed by a jinn, like most Asians assume.
The best form for you is reassess your realistic goals, self love in developing your self esteem and confidence with your key worker.
Counselling can help you, but with a psychologist possibly.
No CBT, as they'll just tell you to think outside the box. That can be deemed as patronising.
Balance in life. Too much of something is not good in nourishing out holistic needs.
You need to channel your energy into something positive like a hobby, learn or develop a new skill.
Possibly cooking, watching a documentary and socialising.
Going away like camping getting in touch with the nature reserves. For a brisk walk going to the gym. Looking after your physique.
Getting contact with 'Mind' charity and read upon your condition.
I'd advise you not to take medication unless there is a chemical imbalance which that needs reviewing under the mental health act by a professional.
I do go walking outside, sometimes exercise at home, take injection once every 3 weeks at a clinic, have annual checkup - height, weight, blood pressure, give blood..im not over weight - weigh 87kg to 90kg and I'm 6'1 and half..women look at my face, and some smile at me, because I have beautified character.
Look I understand you do not mean to say things as in giving me your description and how girls find you attractive.
Looks are not everything it's what's inside.
Some people are blessed with both mashallah.
