    Lightbulb Will I have to?

    Report bad ads?

In Jannah if I don't have loved ones, like family, if I had a terrible family can I wish never to see them in Jannah. I don't care if they make it I just don't want to be with them for eternity. It is said that in Jannah, we shall see and be with only those we desire. So I believe I don't have to or will not see anybody that I don't love or want to be with. I could get whatever my heart desires in Jannah. I also wonder if Allah will destroy the Earth. Will he destroy it, doesn't it say that in revelation? Anyway, my family are evil and abusive and I don't ever want to see them again for eternity. I don't know why Allah won't allow us to choose the life, people, and family to be born into. Allah has all control and he chooses, no human being chooses how to live their life, their nationality, the country they would like to be born into. I can say that it is not fair but I can't question Allah. I just hope in that day I will get whatever my soul desires and I hope that I make it into Jannah to Firdaus. Ameen.

    Re: Will I have to?

If your family is truly evil with no good in them whatsoever and no faith, and they die in that state then obviously they will not be candidates for receiving Allah's eternal bounties. It should be noted that on the Day of Judgement all family ties will be severed, even the good ones and then ties with good family members will be re-established in Jannah.

If your family has some good in them, with some faith and good deeds but still with the evil of oppressing you, then all injustices and scores are settled on the Day of Judgement before entering into Paradise. So if any Muslim wrongs you, then you will be able to take that person's good deeds from them until the wrong is put right. If they have no good deeds or not enough, then you will be able to give them some of your sins until the wrong is put right. In any case, you will be fully satisfied and your heart will be fully mended from any hurt that you received in Dunya before entering into Jannah. If there is a family member who eventually gets to go to Jannah, there will be no beef between the two of you anymore and you can coexist in perfect harmony.

I also wonder if Allah will destroy the Earth. Will he destroy it, doesn't it say that in revelation?
Yes, Allah will change the Earth to a new Earth in which every elevation will be made level and every crevice will be filled. The Earth will be completely smooth and level and will serve a different function entirely, it will be the place of Standing on the Day of Standing. Everyone will stand on the Earth on that Day awaiting Judgement.

I don't know why Allah won't allow us to choose the life, people, and family to be born into. Allah has all control and he chooses, no human being chooses how to live their life, their nationality, the country they would like to be born into. I can say that it is not fair but I can't question Allah.
This life was never meant to be the place where people get what they deserve. Why people think that, I do not know. The Prophet (May Allah's Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) said:

The most privileged people in the world among the people of Hellfire will come on the Day of Resurrection to be dipped in Hellfire, then it will be said: O son of Adam, did you see any good? Did you get any blessing? He will say: No, by Allah, my Lord! Then, the most miserable people in the world among the people of Paradise will come on the Day of Resurrection to be dipped in Paradise, then it will be said: O son of Adam, did you see any hardship? Did you have any distress? He will say: No, by Allah, my Lord! I did not once see hardship or distress.(Muslim)

In this life, the worst of creation seem to "have it all" while the best of creation suffer tremendously with no recourse to any real justice in this life. The Prophet (salallahu alihi wa salam) told us that the one who had the "best" life in dunya will completely forget all of that and swear by Allah that he enjoyed nothing upon being merely "dipped" placed in and out of Hellfire and the person who had the worst life will forget all of that and swear by Allah that he never suffered upon being merely "dipped" into Jannah.

This Dunya is a split snapshot of our existence. An incredibly brief moment of time that occurs to us and then we move on. No amount of suffering is too great in this regard.

Be careful. Be grateful to Allah. It wouldn't make sense that Allah would allow any of us to choose our set of circumstances in this life before we even come into existence. Allah's knows better what's best for us. For those in this Dunya who have more than others (More wealth, more power, more opportunities, etc.) they have more responsibilities than the rest of us and they will be asked about a lot more and held accountable for that. For us, if we are simply patient and content with whatever we do have, we will have fulfilled our obligation. This life is not the place of reward and justice. This is the place where each of us earns their level in Paradise or Hell.

Sister, this life is only a trial. Nothing else.
To Allah - there are no races, no nationalities, just humans - good and bad, believers and disbelievers.

Races, nationalities, elite etc is creation of human mind.

    Re: Will I have to?

I also believe the old earth will be destroyed because it is too imperfect, and not a perfect earth, where perfection exists. If prophecy is correct Allah should make a new earth, one that is perfect and created in his likeness.

Sister, this life is only a trial. Nothing else.
To Allah - there are no races, no nationalities, just humans - good and bad, believers and disbelievers.

Races, nationalities, elite etc is creation of human mind.

So does that mean that I can leave and forget this life or Dunya like it never even happened. It is not fair we are created imperfect without choosing where and whom we will be born with or into. Yes, this life is just a test, but we are different. We are born into different colors, race, nationalities? Is it really to test us? Yes, we are just humans but what if we don't want to be "born this way"? Could we get to choose next time in the Akiyra? Will we get look and choose this time how we want to look and feel? What about the soul? Can we choose not to exist even if we wanted? I don't believe Allah will grant every soul's wish and desire. I don't believe we'll get whatever the soul desires or wants because we did not get whatever we wanted in this life. So why the next? It doesn't make sense.

Btw, I believe and submit to Allah, I love Allah, but I am not happy with his decision for making life the way it is. It sucks. I am not questioning Allah either, but life's tough. I don't want to exist but here were are existing because of Allah. He is in control of everything. I hope Jannah is like a blank slate. No more parents, no previous family members. Just oneself with Allah. Just Allah and I. I want to forget this life completely. I want to forget this dunya including family and friends. Why? Because I hate all of it. Is this possible in Jannah? I can start over like a clean slate. I think we can choose who to love and be around we can choose the people to be in company with. Right?

    Re: Will I have to?

It is not fair we are created imperfect without choosing where and whom we will be born with or into.
Btw, I believe and submit to Allah, I love Allah, but I am not happy with his decision for making life the way it is. It sucks.
Allah does not commit injustice to any single soul. If a person is born with the worst set of circumstances, then he/she has an opportunity through their suffering to be patient and earn a great reward. If a person is born with the best set of circumstances, then they have an opportunity to, through the favors that Allah gave them to show gratitude by utilizing those favors for His sake and get close to Him. In this regard, all of us have been favored greatly by Allah and each of us has a golden set of opportunities to reach to the throne of the al-Kareem (the Generous). It is therefore truly unfair and extremely unjust to attribute injustice to Allah whose favors upon each and every single one of us cannot be counted.

You should know that part and parcel of loving Allah is that you are grateful to Him and Patient with whatever He Decrees for you. You should also know that Jannah is not obtained except by being patient. Allah says,

"...And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], "Peace [i.e., security] be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home." (ar-Rad: 23-24)

Meaning, those who got to Jannah didn't get there except through patiently enduring hardship. We already explained that anything you want in Jannah is yours. if you want to be a certain look, you can be. I already explained that no one from amongst the people of Jannah will remember anything of hardship in Dunya by quoting the Hadith above which I will give here again because of its vital importance:

The most privileged people in the world among the people of Hellfire will come on the Day of Resurrection to be dipped in Hellfire, then it will be said: O son of Adam, did you see any good? Did you get any blessing? He will say: No, by Allah, my Lord! Then, the most miserable people in the world among the people of Paradise will come on the Day of Resurrection to be dipped in Paradise, then it will be said: O son of Adam, did you see any hardship? Did you have any distress? He will say: No, by Allah, my Lord! I did not once see hardship or distress.” (Muslim)

These people will swear by Allah in front of Allah that they never suffered in Dunya.

What about the soul? Can we choose not to exist even if we wanted?
No one from amongst the people of Jannah will wish for this and everyone from amongst the people of Hell will long for that but it will never be granted for them.

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

“Death will be brought in the form of a black and white ram, and a caller will call out: ‘O people of Paradise!’ They will crane their necks and look, and [the caller] will say: ‘Do you recognize this?’ They will say: ‘Yes, this is death.’ And all of them will have seen it. Then [the caller] will call out: ‘O people of Hell!’ They will crane their necks and look, and [the caller] will say: ‘Do you recognize this?’ They will say: ‘Yes, this is death.’ And all of them will have seen it. Then it will be slaughtered, then it will be said: ‘O people of Paradise, it is eternal and there will be no death. O people of Hell, it is eternal and there will be no death.’”

Then he [the Prophet (Salalahu 'Alaihi wa Salaam) recited the verse: “And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness” – which is the heedlessness of the people of this world – “and they do not believe” [Maryam 19:39].
    (Bukhari & Muslim)

I don't believe Allah will grant every soul's wish and desire. I don't believe we'll get whatever the soul desires or wants because we did not get whatever we wanted in this life. So why the next? It doesn't make sense.
Allah never promised that He would fulfill our desires in this life, yet He did promise to do so for the people of Jannah:

"Enter Jannah, you and your wives, in happiness.' Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them; (there will be) therein all that inner-selves could desire, and all that eyes could delight in and you will abide therein forever. This is the Jannah which you have been made to inherit because of your deeds which you used to do." (az-Zukhruf: 70-72)
