When people ask why would Allah throw people to hell, this is because you can't make Allah undo what he has done- in creating you, why should he (when he created you, he had done a good thing), just because you became evil. Allah is still Merciful. The wrong doers were warned that their deeds would lead to hell fire, some people trivialise their wrong ways, but its no different in rejecting Allah in Paradise (he will be throwing Iblis into the fire), where else should he put them?? They will have the reward in the Hell fire that everything they do back at them, as they think it's too much is that they make small what they do.
