Jazzakhallah Khairan for your offer Akhi, one of my doubts is about the "contradiction" in the Quran, there's one about whether or not Disbeliever can speak or not during the day of qiyamah. It goes like this

Verse Quran 27:85 and Quran 77:34-38 says that they Can't. But
Verse Quran 37:20-28 and Quran 6:22-24 says that they can!

Please help me with this one

I looked these verses up in Ibn Kathir and indeed it looks like a contradiction...but you should take these points in consideration:
1- We know very little about the day of resurrection and what exactly awaits us
2- The day of resurrection is a loooong day with possibly multiple stages and I can imagine that at one part one is permitted to speak and at other parts not
3- It doesn't mean they cannot speak the entire day

So I think there are too many uncertain factors here to say that those verses contradict each other.

And because of that i personally think that this is not a very good reason to doubt Islaam.
Whether the wrongdoers cant speak because Allah made that physically impossible for them or they cant speak because they know Allah knows everything so saying anything or even lying is useless...I do not know.

Again, I agree with you that it is vague, but only because we just dont have enough information about that topic.

So we don't know if it's a contradiction or not...? What about the verse when Allah will make their body part talk..?

Nevermind akhi, a Kind brother also tell me the same answer, he wrote
"Wa alaikum assalam. When encountering claims of contradictions in the Quran, it’s important to consider the context of each verse, as well as classical and contemporary Islamic scholarship on the subject. Different verses in the Quran address various situations and are meant to be understood both in their specific context and as part of the Quran’s holistic message.

For the verses in question, let’s consider their contexts and how they might be reconciled:

    1. Quran 27:85 and Quran 77:34-38 are interpreted by some to suggest that disbelievers will not be able to speak on the Day of Judgment. For example, Surah 77:35-36 says, “This is the Day they will not speak, Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.” This could be understood as a specific moment when disbelievers are overwhelmed or in a state where they are not permitted to speak to justify their deeds.
    2. Quran 6:22-24 and Quran 37:20-28, on the other hand, include verses where disbelievers do speak on the Day of Judgment, presenting their arguments or being questioned. For example, Surah 6:22-23 says, “When we will gather them all together and say to those who associated others with Allah, ‘Where are your ‘partners’ that you used to claim?’ Then there will be none but their saying, ‘By Allah, our Lord, we were not those who associated.’”

The apparent contradiction can be resolved by understanding that these verses may refer to different stages of the Day of Judgment or different groups of disbelievers. The Quran often addresses complex concepts through various parables, examples, and scenarios, which may not always be immediately clear without a comprehensive study of Islamic theology and Tafsir (exegesis of the Quran).

Islamic scholars have long employed principles of interpretation to address perceived contradictions, including the contexts of revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul), the difference between general and specific verses, and the harmonization of seemingly conflicting texts based on broader Quranic themes.

For an in-depth understanding, it’s recommended to consult credible Tafsir literature or scholars who can provide context and clarification on these verses. Websites dedicated to addressing misconceptions and explaining Quranic verses in detail, such as IslamQA, --------------, or the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir, can also offer valuable insights."

Jazzakhallah Khairan for answering my doubts akhi, I still have many but insha'Allah I can overcome them. Have a blessed ramadhan

I'm sorry I cant help you with this particular question brother. maybe some other better qualified person can provide a better answer.

Like said, there is not much information available about that day...we all have a lot of questions about this topic because of that.
And we should realise that we cannot answers and certainty when there is too little information.

But you said that you have more doubts. Maybe you can list them so that we may help you with other questions...don't struggle with them alone.

It's alright akhi, I understand. And about my doubt, there's this website that I've read, I can't list all of their arguments can I? Their arguments are very well made, so I decided not to spread the doubt. I'm currently talking to other knowledgeable person regarding this so I'm sure I'll be fine.

But if I can list some of my doubt, I'll post it here. Please make dua for me.

    Re: Need help...

I see no contradiction and this clearly shows it is not what people say, but that you didn’t believe in this area of the Day of Judgement-as how can any believer reject it?? Before going to the verses, please check if you agree with the Day of Judgement (as it is pretty poor to start which you shouldn’t have done is start going to others who reject the Day of Judgement -and if they do believe in the Day of Judgement-then surely state what they believe about it. So like to point out a brief points:

    1. The Day of Judgement, is where all of mankind in history is gathered as well as the jinn.
    2. We are being tested at our level, Allah already knows what is going to happen, of course he is God, he knows everything, but that doesn’t’ mean we should-then how shall we live and experience and live at our level?
    3. So when Satan was praying to Allah in heaven, Allah didn’t just say to him, you are evil. The Satan wouldn’t have believed it. So Allah, allows people to be tested and see if for themselves and what they our hands do.
    4. Allah is happy for everyone to go to Paradise, that is why he has sent the Prophets, and even though at times they killed them, he sent them more Prophets. As Allah is Merciful. He is forever merciful. Just because he send people to Hell-that doesn’t mean their sins control Allah’s actions. Why should they force Allah to undo what he has done-he has created them, why should he take them out of existence because of their sins? This is why then they are sent to Hell fire-which praises Allah and the evil doers are its fuel. They will be in forever in torment (accept some will be allowed to come out).
    5. So Allah has allowed people to talk at how they wish in this world. This included people at extreme levels of throwing arrows in the sky and Allah returning it with blood that they believed they had killed God. He has allowed the evil doers to go so far in their arrogance.
    6. This included Pharoah-he was that arrogant he only repented when he was being drowned. Think when he saw the sea parting, he was that arrogant, that he still went through-his evil intent was greater-this greater that the sea parting wasn’t enough to sway him. So when the punishment came to pass, he then was repenting-but it wasn’t accepted as can’t be when Allah decides to kill you. Pharoah as he has elevated himself, is not that great, that Allah needs to give other signs (he already gave so many like the staff turning into a snake), He isn’t arrogance isn’t that great, that Allah needs to move the sun for him, or show him an angel.
    7. There is no such thing as atheism in Islam. The Prophets all came and when they told people the message, they told them to repent to Allah straightaway and worship him. This shows this is a normal message that hits their hearts. This is why, when they keep on rejecting the message, their hearts get hardened-worse than a stone. This only happens as Allah stated they reject the truth. Allah isn’t going to send them to Hell as they didn’t know.
    8. There are children who don’t pay attention in school, when they get older, they complain saying teacher should have done a better job -but what has changed is their intent. That they are willing to listen. The evil doers on the Day of Judgement will be asking to be given another test-but they will not have another chance.
    9. The evil doers will NEVER be speaking like you see them in this world. You hear people still thinking they will be the same, this is why some think that Hell is a learning place- it isn’t. As you will be on fire-what is there to learn, if you’re on fire you’re only wishing things to stop-not a learning place. It is a place of punishment.
    10. A few more examples of evil doers talking nonsense, is they think their relationship with others is more important-your love does not open the gates of Heaven, it is Allah’s. The angels are not singing praises of your love-but Allah’s. Who do the evil doers think they are, that they think someone getting along with them, should be enough?? They are not enough, I don’t care how long they have been married, or whatever someone has said to them in this world-this is where they will turn on each other on the Day of Judgement.

So the 2 verses that you used -which I say YOU use as you have used them and said YOU have a problem with (as this is not about other people having a problem with it):

The verses where it says they can’t speak that use:
27:85 The translations include, when the decree of torment will be justified (Khattab) and the word will be fulfilled (Picktall)
77:35 – to read it with the next verse where it says they will not be able to offer excuses.

The Day of Judgement is just that, people will be questioned on what they did. It is not a free for all, how you see people speak in this world, when they like to talk about this and lie about that etc.

The 27.85 is stated when the word is fulfilled- what does that mean fulfilled (when everything that has been done and spoken of has been done with them, there is nothing more with the evil doers).

    The Day of Judgement includes:

    1. As we are again experiencing things at our level, people will be asked, including babies why they were murdered – this is Judgement Day. The evil doers will be humiliated, look at them in today’s world with the politicians. They can’t just walk away and be dismissive and like and offer excuses. There is no freedom for them.
    2. So they will be asked, and if they worshipped their idols-they will be asked to call for them to see if they will be helped when they will not.
    3. Satan will also be speaking and saying that (as he will not be lying either or any excuses), I lied to you, but Allah promised you the truth, I had no power over you, save that I called onto you and you obeyed me, for wrong doers is a painful doom This is stated in 14:22 that this is also after the matter has been decided.
    4. When the evil doers and believers have spoken -which is what the Day of Judgement is for, and the Day of Judgement is the LAST thing that anyone needs to do anything with the evil doers (they can see them after from Paradise when they will be calling for help-but they don’t need to see it), when the Day of Judgement comes to end when the matter has been decided – they know their places, they will not be speaking. There is nothing to say. There is an underestimation of how they will be feeling.
    5. With the evil doers, they are nothing, you die and you’re there and you are not allowed to do anything-go anywhere, enjoy anything. There is no comfort, it is not like when you have problem in this world and you get to think of pleasant things, when they die, they are constantly thinking of going to hell.
    6. Even when an evil doer dies, and they see their family/friends being sad and crying, the evil doer in the coffin doesn’t care for this, they are ALONE, they have lost everything. There is no freedom to in thought or action. What do you think they will be doing, having the same evil intent as they had done. They are not crying as crying is more of comfort level-there is horror that you are going to be tormented in the grave.
    7. The evil doers right now, being tormented in the grave, do not wish for the Day of Judgement to happen, people think when they think of coming back is doing all things more nicely-nay, if they could come back, they would be screaming down the streets at people and vehemently opposing everybody-they wouldn’t care of sitting with their friends or family.
    8. The word believer -to people they think the Muslims think this is true-we are NOT praying to Allah thinking he might exist-we treat it as fact. He is there, we are praying to him. We are tested in this world, as it would be too easy for us to pass in the world of the devils. They try to eavesdrop on Heaven, they know Satan has been alive all this time. If humans were being tested in their world (we have the same test, but different starting at different levels), we would just be trying to reach heaven, we would be concentrating on seeing what we can do to help others, give to charity. Then when you see people depart this world, the rest of the humans will just be in awe and wishing to go, they wouldn’t be getting married, learning anything.
    9. Satan was asked to bow down do the Prophet Adam peace be upon him with along with all the angels, no one can oppose Allah in Heaven-so he simply asked people to bow down for obedience. As nothing was about worshipping him, but about respecting him. We have souls and people know when they hear the truth.
    10. The 2nd verse that you used 77:35, as above, they will not be able to speak as they do and talk of their excuses. This is huge to the believers -as is this not a relief to the believer when they are no longer being able to lie?? Look how the politicians are lying about Gaza etc, when they do this much, you’re just asking them to quit with the nonsense talking-this is a huge relief when they do not. This is for us to know to know what they will be like in the hereafter.
    11. Of course the believers will be happy on that Day, they are not going to miserable as people sent themselves to Hell.
    12. So, they will be in Paradise and living in peace, being able to sit and go around without no worries, work and being happy with what Allah has provided in good company.

I’m not always online, and when I do, like to put some points that I think is helpful and this is to also protect the other Muslims to stop wasting their time.
So, I will be blunt, you need to stop lying too and you need to stop wasting time, if you don’t’ repent to Allah as you should, and if you are lost, then lost you are. There are things that stand out:

Wasting time quoting whatever faults you think you have found, is pointless, as you haven’t even spoken about why you went to non-Muslim talks in the first place. Just saying generally, weak in faith, for a person to reject the basics or not know about is, is huge as this is child level of understanding. So what do you mean using weak in faith-either you’re a Muslim or not, and as per the Quran this if for believing men and believing women. So why not mention what you don’t agree with Islam-which had nothing to do with these verses that you quoted, as you came across them AFTER you decided to go to non-muslim webpages. So, here, if you’re not answering the initial issue-the actual issue, then you are wasting time, as it needs to go back down to what is it that you believe?? As above, I have spent time writing about the Day of Judgement and you haven’t mentioned where your at with it-so as I spend little time online, and for the benefit here of others just in case, you need to tell us what you expect the Day of Judgement to be?? And where you have got that idea.

So, my pray is that Muslims are actually saved from people like you if you’re wasting time, if you do not sort yourself out, at a time when these countries are finishing the Mahdi is coming, the Prophet Jesus peace be upon him is coming back (internet will be no more, no TV etc). Then you are wasting time, especially now. If you can do the research of finding what nonsense people come up with, the do the decent thing of saying what you believe about they subject-what do you think the Day of Judgement is for?? Of course it is humiliating for the evil doers who try to hide away, imagine all these corrupt leadeers-where they going to run to?? And imagine a baby being asked if you killed them, if they committed any crimes that they were killed-imagine how small and nothing they will look and be in the history of Mankind, where the people who were drowned in the flood at the time Prophet Nuh peace be upon him, Pharoah will be there. Nothing will be left unturned. This is why be kind to others, so be treated better in the next world. As one of these threads has stated, remove a burden from a believer, Allah will help remove yours on the Day of Judgement. The Day of Judgement is what we are working towards, it is the most important day of our live and we haven’t lived it, of course you will experience it – Allah is fair Judge. Things are done at our level. No one will be saying that Allah wronged them. When evil people kill, Allah allows that person to die, but they are not fretting the angels are not rushing around panicking, as the Angel of Death is told to take a person’s soul-but the evil doers think they are in control. Being asked on the Day of Judgement is one of the most humiliating questions for the evil doers- look at them trying to cower away. This then shows that from your part, you seem self-centred, as not appreciating the basics of what believers put with the evil-doers, look at the starvation in Gaza, and we’re being lied to that they are trying their best to give aid-if they did that NO ONE will be starving. People are pretty happy when they can no longer speak like this-none of them will do so. How can people seek questions, when they don’t seem to accept the basics?? They will come to know that we were only able to have the internet to help give people a fair test, as we have had the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

I am a Muslim, I believe in Allah and the Last Day, the tremendous Day. Were Allah is judging everyone individually, where it is so much that when a pregnant female loses her baby she is not thinking of the baby, you will not be trying to see your friends/family as you would try to reach out in this world, you are on your own (the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him does have intercession for the believers).

Best to only stick with Muslim sites and learn basic Islam instead of trying to learn about Islam from non-Muslim-as obviously that is wasting everybody's time and not actually starting at your point where is what problem you have had at the start, as your just finding problems. AS people are providing a supporting role here too.

Assalamualaikum warrahmatullah akhi/ukthi, thank you for your kind words and your answers, I understand your frustration to the point you pray that people stayed away from me, It was foolish of me to read things the kuffar wrote against Islam, i asked this question here when I'm in a state of a panic attack, and when youre in that state, its hard to understand things, for me, atleast.

I thank you again and apologize again. I'm here just to give an update that I can say that I no longer have any shubhat, and I found a community of Brothers who are willing to help me with my faith, and Alhamdulillah a brother is teaching me about Islam and answered all my questions, and now I can say that yes, I am a Muslim.

Thank you again, may Allah grant you his blessings and happiness in this Dunya and the afterlife. And may Allah grant you sabr too.
