MSA - Should I join it, yes or no?

I'm in my first year in university the United States. When I first came here one of the members of the MSA(Muslim Student Association) here tried to recruit me, and I had originally planned to join the MSA but once I saw how she looked I changed my mind. She was wearing tight jeans, tight shirt, and no headscarf. I'm thinking like "what.....". Anyways, I've seen some brothers and sisters around the University but haven't let it be known that I'm a Muslim. Most of the female members of the MSA don't dress Islamically and the guys seem like they are the party guys, which is not me. I've checked out their website and it seems like they do a lot of good things, but at the same time there is free mixing between male and female members. Do you guys think I should join it, or refrain from joining it in order to avoid mixing with loosely dressed girls?

    Asalamaulaikum wr wb,

    subhanAllah bro...

I'm not saying anything against MSA...u can join it if you would like to...u can seek knowledge from people over there inshaAllah but if you are under age of 27 inshaAllah, then u can join YM(young muslims) its related to ICNA(Islamic Circle of North America)....its all seperated...girls and guys are seperated....its not mix gathering at alll.

In MSA, u have to face muslim women....its too much fitnah...but in YM u dont' have to care about any fitnah at all cuz subhanAllah its all seperated...thats the main reason people are joining YM these days.

other than that YM is mashAllah reallly really good for seeking knowledge and they have dawah department too...allhamdulillah!

    so its ur choice inshaAllah.

    take care,

    walaikum salaaam wrwb.
