Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed.
Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar

Has it occured to you yet that some of you including the topic starter are confessing to sins they commit? Is this a good thing to do? Revealing sins?

Are you trying to mock me? I'm only pointing out what you should not do, should you feel the need to mock me, do it freely. I pray Allah has mercy upon you.
...the case of Maa’iz when he confessed to having committed zina – that it is mustahabb for the one who falls into a similar sin to repent to Allaah and conceal his sin and not mention it to anyone, as Abu Bakr and ‘Umar said to Maa’iz. Whoever discovers anything of that nature should conceal it according to what we have mentioned; he should not expose it or refer the matter to the ruler, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said in this story: “If you had concealed it with your garment it would have been better for you.” Hence al-Shaafa’i (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “If a person commits a sin and Allaah conceals it for him, I prefer for him to conceal it too and to repent,” and he quoted as evidence the story of Maa’iz with Abu Bakr and ‘Umar.
Fath al-Baari, 12/124, 125
Are you convinvced now sister muslimahimprovin? I remember, when I first said this was not a good idea, but then you said you will benefit from it. So far, it looks like you've lost out. I was only there to advise you, not put you down and make you feel bad about yourself.
May Allah guide us all.

Got a question, or got something in general to say or ask me, drop me a line. Peace out!
Maybe if we identify our worst habits, we can rectify them and become a better person Bi'idhnillah.
Brother, I'm sure you had good intentions, but it seems like no one is even trying to rectify themselves. No one's giving advice on how to overcome their habits, and as I predicted, this topic was just made for a laugh, just like the other one.
Got a question, or got something in general to say or ask me, drop me a line. Peace out!
Since my bad habit is taking mistakes out of others, maybe it would be a good idea for us to take our own mistakes out. We will benefit more this way InshaAllah
But you will need to be extremely carefull and not reveal that which is classed as a sin.
I don't really understand why a topic is needed in this matter, can't you just PM the person and tell them their bad habits? I'm sure as muslims we're not supposed to mock anyone in a publicised manner and make a subject out of them.
