Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
The parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche
and within it is a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass;
the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed Tree,

^umm... no... Where did you hear that from? Only Allah swt has 99 names.

Th prophet has a few, I think 3-5 or something in that magnitude...

I think the odd number has to do with the fact that there are no equals to Allaah, He is One and He has created the creation in pairs, i.e. humans, animals, plants etc. however God is One and there is none like Him. [so there is no even to Him.]

Maybe thats why the odd number is emphasised so much. Allaah knows best.
