As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu
6th Dhul Qa'dah 1434 (12th September 2013)
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) passed by a man who was
admonishing his brother regarding Haya and was saying, "You are very shy,
and I am afraid that might harm you."
On that, Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Leave him, for Haya is (a part) of Faith."

"He who does not memorise any part from the Qur'an is like the ruined house. [Tirmidhi]
Here's a thought for all of us to think about. Always sleep with a clean heart. I know many of us get wronged throughout the day or have gotten wronged in the past. Forgive. Not only forgive, but forgive and forget. Don't even hold a grudge against that person in your heart. Keep your heart completely pure. Narrated Abu Shuraih Al-Ka'bi (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, Whoever believes in
Allah and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously. The guest's
reward is: To provide him with a superior type of food for a night and a
day and a guest is to be entertained with food for three days, and whatever
is offered beyond that, is regarded as something given in charity. And it
is not lawful for a guest to stay with his host for such a long period so
as to put him in a critical position."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever believes in Allah
and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously; and whoever believes
in Allah and the Last Day, should unite the bond of kinship (i.e. keep good
relation with his Kith and kin); and whoever believes in Allah and the Last
Day, should talk what is good or keep quiet. "

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A flag will be fixed
on the Day of Resurrection for every betrayer, and it will be announced
(publicly in front of everybody), 'This is the betrayal (perfidy) of
so-and-so, the son of so-and-so.' "

10th Dhul Qa'dah 1434 (16th September 2013)
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) forbade the throwing of stones
(with the thumb and the index or middle finger), and said "It neither hunts
a game nor kills (or hurts) an enemy, but it gouges out an eye or breaks a
tooth."

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "It is from the excellence of (a believer’s) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him".

Narrated Anas bin Malik (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Two men sneezed before the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam). The
Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said to one of them, "May Allah
bestow His Mercy on you," but he did not say that to the other.
On being asked (why), the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "That one
praised Allah (at the time of sneezing), while the other did not praise
Allah."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Allah likes sneezing and
dislikes yawning, so if someone sneezes and then praises Allah, then it is
obligatory on every Muslim who heard him, to say: May Allah be merciful to
you (Yar-hamuka-l-lah).
But as regards yawning, it is from Satan, so one
must try one's best to stop it, if one says 'Ha' when yawning, Satan will
laugh at him."
