    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) said, He who has done a wrong affecting his brother’s honor or anything else, let him ask his forgiveness today before the time (i.e., the Day of Resurrection) when he will have neither a dinar nor a dirham. If he has done some good deeds, a portion equal to his wrong doings will be subtracted from them; but if he has no good deeds, he will be burdened with the evil deeds of the one he had wronged in the same proportion". [Bukhari Book 08, Chapter 76, Hadith # 541].

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) was speaking to us when, a bedouin came and asked him: "When will the Last Day be?” The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) continued his talk. Some of those present thought that he had heard him but disliked the interruption and the other said that he had not hear him. When the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) concluded his speech he asked, "Where is the one who inquired about the Last Day?” The man replied: "Here I am.” The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) replied, "When the practice of honoring a trust is lost, expect the Last Day.” He asked: "How could it be lost?” He replied, "When the government is entrusted to the undeserving people, then wait for the Last Day.” [Al-Bukhari Vol-1, Book 3, Hadith # 56].

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

    8th Rajab 1435 (7th May 2014)

    Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to pray in his room at
night. As the wall of the room was LOW, the people saw him and some of them
stood up to follow him in the prayer. In the morning they spread the news.
The following night the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) stood for
the prayer and the people followed him. This went on for two or three
nights. Thereupon Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) did not
stand for the prayer the following night, and did not come out. In the
morning, the people asked him about it. He replied, that he way afraid that
the night prayer might become compulsory.

The Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"There is no Muslim who says a du’aa’ in which there is no sin or severing of family ties, but Allaah will give him one of three things:

    1. Either He will hasten to answer his prayer.
    2. Or He will store it up for him in the Hereafter.
    3. Or He will divert an equivalent evil from him.”

They said: Then we will say a lot of du’aa’! He said: “Allaah can give more than that.”
