    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Jabir ibn Sulaim reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Beware of pride, for Allah does not love pride. If a person abuses and reviles you in a matter he knows about you, then do not revile him in a matter you know about him, for then you will have his reward and he will have your sin. Thus, do not revile anyone.”

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever possesses the
(following) three qualities will have the sweetness of faith (1): The one
to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else; (2) Who
loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's Sake; (3) who hates to

    Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

I asked the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "O Allah's Apostle!

Whoever goes out for the Umrah pilgrimage and dies, then the reward of Umrah will be written for him until the Day of Resurrection. Abu Umamah Al-Bahili reported: Two men were mentioned before the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, the worshiper and the scholar. The Prophet said, “The merit of the scholar over the worshiper is like my merit over the least of you. Verily, Allah, his angels, the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the ant in his hole and the fish, send blessings upon the one who teaches people virtue.”

Fudayl ibn Iyad said, “A scholar who works in teaching has a high status in the domain of the heavens.”

Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Madinah and saw the Jews fasting on the day of 'Ashura'. He said, 'What is this?' They said, 'This is a righteous day, it is the day when Allah saved the Children of Israel from their enemies, so Musa fasted on this day.' He said, 'We have more right to Musa than you,' so he fasted on that day and commanded [the Muslims] to fast on that day." [Reported by al-Bukhari, 1865]

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

    Narrated `Aisha:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to like to start from the right side on wearing shoes, combing his hair and cleaning or washing himself and on doing anything else.
