    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated Zaid bin Khalid RA: A man came and asked Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) about picking a lost thing. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Remember the description of its container and the string it is tied with, and make public announcement about it for one year. If the owner shows up, give it to him; otherwise, do whatever you like with it." He then asked, "What about a lost sheep?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is for you, for your brother (i.e. its owner), or for the wolf." He further asked, "What about a lost camel?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is none of your concern. It has its water-container (reservoir) and its feet, and it will reach water and drink it and eat the trees till its owner finds it." (Bukhari - Vol. 3, Book 42, Hadith 611)

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!") [Bukhari]

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    1st Rajab 1437 (8th April 2016)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Any person who takes a bath on Friday like
the bath of Janaba and then goes for the prayer (in the first hour i.e.
    early), it is as if he had sacrificed a camel (in Allah's cause);

and whoever goes in the second hour it is as if he had sacrificed a cow; and
whoever goes in the third hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed a horned
ram; and if one goes in the fourth hour, then it is as if he had sacrificed
    a hen;

and whoever goes in the fifth hour then it is as if he had offered
an egg. When the Imam comes out (i.e. starts delivering the Khutba), the
angels present themselves to listen to the Khutba."

    2nd Rajab 1437 (9th April 2016)

    Narrated Salman-Al-Farsi (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever takes a bath on
Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or
perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua
prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the masjid),
then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent
while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present
and the last Friday would be forgiven."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Salama bin Al-Akwa RA: Once, while we were sitting in the company of Prophet (peace be upon him), a dead man was brought. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was requested to lead the funeral prayer for the deceased. He said, "Is he in debt?" The people replied in the negative. He said, "Has he left any wealth?" They said, "No." So, he led his funeral prayer. Another dead man was brought and the people said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Lead his funeral prayer." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Is he in debt?" They said, "Yes." He said, "Has he left any wealth?" They said, "Three Dinars." So, he led the prayer.

Then a third dead man was brought and the people said (to the Prophet (peace be upon him) ), Please lead his funeral prayer." He said, "Has he left any wealth?" They said, "No." He asked, "Is he in debt?" They said, ("Yes! He has to pay) three Diners.', He (refused to pray and) said, "Then pray for your (dead) companion." Abu Qatada said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Lead his funeral prayer, and I will pay his debt." So, he led the prayer. (Bukhari - Vol. 3, Book 37, Hadith 488)

Narrated Abu Huraira RA: The Prophet (peace be upon him) owed somebody a camel of a certain age. When he came to demand it back, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said (to some people), "Give him (his due)." When the people searched for a camel of that age, they found none, but found a camel one year older. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Give (it to) him." On that, the man remarked, "You have given me my right in full. May Allah give you in full." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The best amongst you is the one who pays the rights of others generously." (Bukhari - Vol. 3, Book 38, Hadith 501)

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that:

"The Messenger of Allah said: The most merciful of my Ummah towards my Ummah is Abu Bakr; the one who adheres most sternly to the religion of Allah is 'Umar; the most sincere of them in shyness and modesty is 'Uthman; the best judge is 'Ali bin Abu Talib; the best in reciting the Book of Allah is Ubayy bin Ka'b; the most knowledgeable of what is lawful and unlawful is Mu'adh bin Jabal; and the most knowledgeable of the rules of inheritance (Fara'id) is Zaid bin Thabit. And every nation has a trustworthy guardian, and the trustworthy guardian of this Ummah is Abu 'Ubaidah bin Jarrah."

    10th Rajab 1437 (17th April 2016)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) talked about Friday and
said, "There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it
while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely
meet his demand." And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that
    time with his hands.
