Amr b Sa'id b al-As RA reported: I was with Uthman, and he called for ablution water and said: I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) say: When the time for a prescribed prayer comes, if any Muslim performs ablution well and offers his prayer with humility and bowing, it will be an expiation for his past sins, so long as he has not committed a major sin; and this applies for all times. (Muslim - Book 2, Hadith 441)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Satan puts three knots at the back of the head of any of you if he is asleep. On every knot he reads and exhales the following words, 'The night is long, so stay asleep.' When one wakes up and remembers Allah, one knot is undone; and when one performs ablution, the second knot is undone, and when one prays the third knot is undone and one gets up energetic with a good heart in the morning; otherwise one gets up lazy and with a mischievous heart."

The Most noble Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi wasallam said :
"When you enter into the eena transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad, Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original Deen (i.e.,True Islam)."

Once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) entered the Masjid and saw a rope hanging in between its two pillars.
He said, "What is this rope?"
The people said, "This rope is for Zainab who, when she feels tired, holds it (to keep standing for the prayer.)"
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long as you feel active, and when you get tired, sit down."
Narrated Abu Bakr RA: We were with Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) when the sun eclipsed. Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) stood up dragging his cloak till he entered the Mosque. He led us in a two-rak'at prayer till the sun (eclipse) had cleared. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of someone's death. So whenever you see these eclipses pray and invoke (Allah) till the eclipse is over." (Bukhari - Vol. 2, Book 18, Hadith 150)
A'isha RA reported that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: A'isha, verily Allah is kind and He loves kindness and confers upon kindness which he does not confer upon severity and does not confer upon anything else besides it (kindness).(Muslim - Book 32, Hadith 6273)

Imām Sa’īd b. Al-Musayyib – Allāh have mercy on him – once saw a man praying more than two rak’ah at the beginning of Fajr, making many bows and prostrations, and so he forbade him.
The man said, “O Abu Muhammad, is Allāh going to punish me for praying?”
Sa’īd said, “No, but He will punish you for contradicting the Sunnah.”

On the authority of Anas RA, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Allah the Almighty said: O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it. It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal). Hadith Qudsi 34
If you aren't able to unite the Muslims, then at least do not play a role in disuniting them.
"O messenger of Allah" Abu Dharr asked,"What do I do if I feel too weak to do certain acts of worship?"
The Prophet (PBUH) responded,
تكفُّ شرَّكَ عن النَّاسِ ، فإنَّها صدقةٌ منكَ على نفسِكَ
"At least prevent yourself from harming others. This will constitute as a Sadaqa (charity) from you upon yourself" (Sahih Muslim)

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam said:
That one amongst the denizens of Hell who had led a life of ease and plenty amongst the people of the world would be made to dip in Fire only once on the Day of Resurrection and then it would be said to him:
O, son of Adam, did you find any comfort, did you happen to get any material blessing? He would say: By Allah, no, my Lord. And then that person from amongst the persons of the world be brought who had led the most miserable life (in the world) from amongst the inmates of Paradise. And he would be made to dip once in Paradise and it would be said to him.
0, son of Adam, did you face, any hardship? Or had any distress fallen to your lot? And he would say: By Allah, no, O my Lord, never did I face any hardship or experience any distress.
