    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    12th Dhul Qa'dah 1437 (15th August 2016)

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "There are three
persons whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will he
purify them and theirs shall be a severe punishment. They are:

    1. A man who possessed superfluous water, on a way and he withheld it from
    travellers.

    2. A man who gave a pledge of allegiance to a ruler and he gave it only for
worldly benefits. If the ruler gives him something he gets satisfied, and
if the ruler withholds something from him, he gets dissatisfied.

    3. And man who displayed his goods for sale after the 'Asr prayer and
wrongfully said, 'By Allah, except Whom None has the right to be
worshipped, I have been given so much for my goods,' and somebody believes
    him (and buys them)."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) then recited: "Verily! Those who
purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and their oaths."

Abu Malik at-Ash'ari reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Cleanliness is half of faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fills the scale, and Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah (Praise be to Allah) fill upwhat is between the heavens and the earth, and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of one's faith) and endurance is a brightness and the Holy Qur'an is a proof on your behalf or against you. All men go out early in the morning and sell themselves, thereby setting themselves free or destroying themselves.

Alqama reported: While I was walking with 'Abdullah at Mina, 'Uthman happened to meet him. He stopped there and began to talk with him. Uthman said to him: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, should we not marry you to a young girl who may recall to you some of the past of your bygone days; thereupon he said: If you say so, Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: 0 young men, those among you who can support a wife should marry, for it restrains eyes from casting (evil glances). and preserves one from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting for it is a means of controlling sexual desire.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
The supplication of the servant is granted in case he does not supplicate for sin or for severing the ties of blood, or he does not become impatient. It was said: Allah's Messenger, what does:" If he does not grow impatient" imply? He said: That he should say like this: I supplicated and I supplicated but I did not find it being responded. and theu he becomes frustrated and abandons supplication.

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

    Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him."

    Hadeeth of the day

    Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There are two expressions which are very easy for the tongue to say, but they are very heavy in the balance and are very dear to The Beneficent (Allah), and they are, 'Subhan Allah Al- `Azim and 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi.'"
    [Sahih al-Bukhari 6406]

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    19th Dhul Qa'dah 1437 (22nd August 2016)

    Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Help your brother,
whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one.

People asked, "O Allah's Apostle! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how
should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi
Wa Sallam) said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."
