    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Sayyiduna Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas (radiyallahu ‘anhu) once asked Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), “Which people are tested most severely? Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) replied, ‘The Ambiya, then the next best, then the next best’ [i.e. The honourable noble ones who are closest to Allah Ta’ala]. A person is tested in accordance to [the strength/weakness] of his Din [Iman]. If he is firm on his Din, his trials will be more severe. If he is weak in his Din, then he is tried according to his strength of his Din. Man will continue being tested until he is left walking upon the earth free of sins”(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2398 and Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 4023)

Sayyidatuna ‘Aishah (radiyallahu’anha) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said:‘When a woman spends [in charity] fairly [without wastage] from the food of her home, she is rewarded for spending from the wealth, her husband is rewarded for his earning that item and the servant is also rewarded. The reward of each does not decrease the others in the least bit.’(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1425)

Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you.If you )have need to( ask, ask of Allah; and if you seek help, seek help from Allah.Know that even if the Nation )or the whole community( were to gather together to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you with anything except that which Allah has already recorded for you, and that if they gather together to harm you with something, they would not be able to harm you with anything except that which Allah has already recorded against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."](Sahih al-Tirmidhi 2043

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) says, ‘A time had come upon us wherein non had more right to a person’s Dirhams and Dinars than his Muslim brother. However, now Dinars and Dirhams have become more beloved to people than their own Muslim brethren. I heard Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say, ” Many a person’s neighbour will be clinging to him on the Day of Qiyamah saying, ‘O my Rabb! This person shut his doors upon me and deprived me of kindness”(Al Adabul Mufrad, Hadith: 111)

Those who purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah's covenant and their oaths . . . Will get painful punishment." Re: Hadeeth of the day

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of (peace be upon him) said: 'When you come to pray, do not come rushing; come walking in a dignified manner, and whatever you catch up with, pray, and whatever you miss, make it up."'
