    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba: On the day of Ibrahim's death, the sun eclipsed and the people said that the eclipse was due to the death of Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet). Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of someone's death or life. So when you see them, invoke Allah and pray till the eclipse is clear."

Sayyiduna Zayd ibn Thabit (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported, I heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say,

“Whoever makes the world his more important matter, Allah will confound his affairs and make poverty appear before his eyes and he will not get anything from the world except what has been decreed for him.

Whoever makes the Hereafter his most important matter Allah will settle his affairs and make him content in his heart and the world will come to him although he does not want it.”

It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'You refer your disputes to me, but I am only human. And some of you may be more eloquent in arguing their case than others, and I may pass judgment on the basis of what I hear. If I pass judgment in favor of one of you against his brother's rights, then it is a piece of the fire that I am giving him.'"

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    Narrated Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

A man got up and said, "O Allah's Apostle! What do you order us to wear
when we assume the state of Ihram?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) replied, "Do not wear shirts, trousers, turbans, hooded cloaks or
Khuffs, but if a man has no sandals, he can wear Khuffs after cutting them
short below the ankles; and do not wear clothes touched with (perfumes) of
    saffron or wars."

While we were with 'Utba bin Farqad at Adharbijan, there came 'Umar's

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) once passed by some people wrestling and asked, ‘What is this?’ They said, ‘O Rasulullah, this is a wrestler who overpowers everyone!’ Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘Shall I not tell you who is even stronger than him? It is a man wronged/oppressed by another man, yet he suppresses his rage and overpowers it. He defeats his Shaytan, and he defeats the devil of [the one who oppressed him]....

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, created His creation in darkness, then He cast His Light upon them, so whoever is touched by that light he is guided, and whoever is not, he goes astray. Re: Hadeeth of the day

Verily Allah Ta’ala becomes pleased with a youngster who isn’t inclined towards sin. (i.e, one who grows up in the obedience of Allah Ta’ala)

    (Musnad Ahmad, vol.4 pg.151, Musnad Abi Ya’la, Hadith: 1743 and Al-Mu’jamul Kabir, vol.11, Hadith: 853 [17].)

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

“A man approached Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) and declared, I am unable to pay my kitabah (money paid by a slave to his master to secure his freedom), so kindly assist me.

Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said, ‘Should I not teach you some words which Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) taught me? If your debt were to be equivalent to Mount Sir/Sabir, Allah will remit it.’

    Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said, ‘Recite

    اَللّٰہُمَّ اكْفِنِىْ بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَ اَغْنِنِىْ بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

O Allah! Make Your halal provision sufficient for me [so that I stay away] from haram. And by Your grace, make me independent of everyone besides You”
