Re: Hadeeth of the day
It was narrated from Ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“If my Companions [Sahabah] are mentioned, then keep quiet, if the stars are mentioned [horoscopes/fortune telling], then keep quiet and if the divine decree [taqdir] is mentioned, then keep quiet.”
Imam Tabarani, Imam Abu Nu’aym and others have recorded this Hadith. Hafiz ibn Hajar (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith of Tabarani as sound (hasan)
(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 10448, Hilyatul Awliya, vol. 4 pg. 108. Refer: Fathul Bari, under Hadith: 6594)

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Narrated Ibn `Umar: I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) saying, "When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can't see it) then regard the month of Ramadan as of 30 days."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 30, Hadith 10)

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah
Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Anybody who believes
in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbour, and anybody who
believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously
and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good
or keep quiet. (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk)."

Re: Hadeeth of the day
Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that whenever Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) passed by a road, someone searching for him would be able to trail him by the fragrance that lingered in the air after him. This was the natural fragrance his body exuded without him applying perfume.

Re: Hadeeth of the day
It is reported that Ibn ‘Umar – Allâh be pleased with him – said, “We were the beginning [the heads] of this Ummah, and perhaps a man from the best of the Companions of Allâh’s Messenger – Allâh’s peace and blessings be upon him – and the most righteous amongst them could maintain only one chapter of the Qur`ân or thereabouts. For the Qur`ân was weighty upon them, and they were given knowledge of it or action based on it. But the last of this Ummah will find the Qur`ân light [and easy] – the child and the non-Arab will recite it, without possessing any knowledge about it.”
