It was narrated from Hakim bin Mu'awiyah that his paternal uncle Mikhmar bin Mu'awiyah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'Do not believe in omens, and good fortune is only to be found in three things: A woman, a horse and a house."'

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah
Narrated Salman-Al-Farsi (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever takes a bath on
Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or
perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua
prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the masjid),
then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent
while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present
and the last Friday would be forgiven."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If I had not found it
hard for my followers or the people, I would have ordered them to clean
their teeth with Siwak for every prayer."

Narrated Anas (RA): A young Jew became ill. The Prophet (peace be upon him) went to visit him. He sat down by his head and said to him: Accept Islam. He looked at his father who was beside him near his head, and he said: Obey Abu al-Qasim. So he accepted Islam, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood up saying: Praise be to Allah Who has saved him through me from Hell.

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:“The wind is from the mercy of Allah. It brings mercy and brings punishment. When you see it, do not curse it. Narrated Ibn Juraij (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
I heard Nazi' saying, "Ibn Umar, said, 'The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) forbade that a man should make another man to get up to sit in his
place' ". I said to Nafi', 'Is it for Jumua prayer only?' He replied, "For
Jumua prayer and any other (prayer)."

Mutarrif bin Abdullah bin Ash-Shikh-khir reported from his father: that he went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he was reciting: ‘The mutual rivalry (for piling up worldly things) diverts you.’ He said: “The son of Adam says: ‘My wealth, my wealth.’ And do you own anything except what you give in charity, such that you’ve spent it, or what you eat, suc that you’ve finished it, or you wear, such that you’ve worn it out?”

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said,“Whenever Muslims plant a tree, they will earn the reward of charity because of the food that comes from it; and likewise what is stolen from it, what the wild beasts eat out of it, what the birds eat out of it, and what people take from it is charity for them”(Muslim).

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to deliver the Khutba while
standing and then he would sit, then stand again as you do now-a-days.

It was narrated that Mu'adhbin Jabal (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took my hand and said: 'I love you, O Mu'adh!' I said: 'And I love you, O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).' Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Never forget to say in every prayer: Rabbi a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik (My Lord, help me to remember You, give thanks to You and worship You well.)"

7th Jumada al-Awwal 1439 (24th January 2018)
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "When it is a Friday, the
angels stand at the gate of the masjid and keep on writing the names of the
persons coming to the masjid in succession according to their arrivals. The
example of the one who enters the masjid in the earliest hour is that of
one offering a camel (in sacrifice).
The one coming next is like one
offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg
respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels)
fold their papers and listen to the Khutba."

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him."

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Abi Talha (RA), from his father, that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came one day with a cheerful expression on his face, and we said: "We see you looking cheerful". He said: "The Angel came to me and said: 'O Muhammad, your Lord says: 'Will it not please you (to know) that no one will send salah upon you that I will send salah upon him tenfold, and no one will send Salaams upon you but I will send Salaams upon him tenfold?'"

“Beware of praising one another [in each others presence] for it is slaughtering [as this will lead to pride and vanity]”
