Abud Darda (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“The one who treads a path seeking the knowledge of Din, Allah Ta’ala will make his path to Jannah easy. The Angels spread out their wings under the feet of the one seeking the knowledge of Din in expression of happiness for the path he has adopted. All the creation in the heavens and the earth, even the fish in the ocean seek forgiveness on behalf of one seeking knowledge. The virtue of an ‘Alim over a worshipper is like the superiority of the moon over all the other stars. And certainly the ‘Ulama are the heirs of the Ambiya. The Ambiya did not leave behind gold and silver coins rather they left behind Knowledge. Whoever has acquired it, really he has acquired a great share”

Do not eat with two fingers for this is how Shaytan eats, eat with three fingers.’

Those who offer 6 rakats at chasht are made immune from all the worries for the whole day. Those who offer 8 rakats are recorded among the pious. One offering 12 rakats has his house built in Jannat.(Refer: Fathul Bari, hadith: 1176. Also see Majma’uz Zawaid, vol.2 pg.237 & Targhib, vol.1 pg.466)

He said: Recite: 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak...,' and: 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind...' So I recited them, and he said: 'Recite them, for you will never recite anything like them.'"
