Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Hadhrat Abu Umaamah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Hadhrat Luqmaan (Alayhis Salaam) once advised his son saying: “O my beloved son, ensure that you always remain in the company of the Ulama and listen attentively to the speech of the wise, for certainly Allah Ta’ala enlivens the dead heart with the light of wisdom, just as he gives life to the dead earth with a downpour of rain.”

Hazrat Abu Sa‘eed Khudri (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said:
عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه : عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : قال موسى عليه السلام : يا رب علمني شيئا اذكرك به وأدعوك به قال : يا موسى قل لا إله إلا الله قال : يا رب كل عبادك يقول هذا قال : قل لا إله إلا الله قال : لا إله إلا أنت يا رب إنما أريد شيئا تخصني به قال : يا موسى لو كان السماوات السبع وعامرهن غيري والأرضين السبع في كفة ولا إله إلا الله في كفة مالت بهن لا إله إلا الله )حاكم 1/528(
Hazrat Musa (‘alaihis salaam) asked Allah Ta‘ala, “O my Lord! Teach me something by which I may remember you (make your zikr) and call unto you in supplication!” Allah Ta‘ala replied, “O Musa! Reciteلا إلاه إلا الله”On receiving this answer, Hazrat Musa (‘alaihis salaam) said, “O my Lord! All your servants recite this!” Allah Ta‘ala replied, “Reciteلا إلاه إلا الله”Hazrat Musa (‘alaihis salaam) said to Allah Ta‘ala, “There is no deity besides you, O my Lord! (However) I want something which is exclusive to myself.” Allah Ta‘ala replied, “O Musa! If the seven heavens and their inhabitants and the seven earths were placed into one pan of the scale andلا إلاه إلا اللهwas placed into the other pan, the pan which containedلا إلاه إلا اللهwould surely outweigh the other pan.”
It was narrated that Muhammad bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr (RA) said: “I was sitting with Ibn ‘Abbas (RA), and a man came to him and he said: ‘Where have you come from?’ He said: ‘From Zamzam.’ He said: ‘Did you drink from it as you should?’ He said: ‘How is that?’ He said: ‘When you drink from it, turn to face the Qiblah and mention the name of Allah, drink three draughts and drink your fill of it. When you have finished, then praise Allah.’ The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘The sign (that differentiates) between us and the hypocrites is that they do not drink their fill from Zamzam.”

Hazrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbaas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Wear white clothing, as it is the best of your clothing, and enshroud in it your deceased.”
It was narrated from Khawlah bint Hakim (RA) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If anyone of you, when he stops to camp (while on a journey), says A’udhu bi kalimatil-lahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq (I seek refuge in the Perfect Words of Allah from the evil of that which He has created), then nothing will harm him in that place until he moves on.”
عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من يأخذ عني هؤلاء الكلمات فيعمل بهن أو يعلم من يعمل بهن فقال أبو هريرة فقلت أنا يا رسول الله فأخذ بيدي فعد خمسا وقال اتق المحارم تكن أعبد الناس وارض بما قسم الله لك تكن أغنى الناس وأحسن إلى جارك تكن مؤمنا وأحب للناس ما تحب لنفسك تكن مسلما ولا تكثر الضحك فإن كثرة الضحك تميت القلب )سنن الترمذي #2305(
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports, “Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once asked the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum), ‘Who will take these words from me and practice on them, as well as teach them to one who will then practice on them?’ I replied, ‘I will, O Rasul of Allah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)!’ Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) thus held my hand and counted five (advices). Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, ‘Fear (falling into) that which is prohibited, and you will be among the greatest of worshippers (as abstaining from haraam is a fardh act and a means of acquiring the pleasure of Allah Ta‘ala). Be pleased with that which Allah Ta‘ala has allotted for you (as your sustenance), and you will be the wealthiest of people. Show your neighbor excellent conduct, and you will be a true believer. Love for others what you love for yourself, and you will be a true muslim. Do not laugh excessively, as excessive laughter kills (the noor of) the heart.”
قال لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عليكن بالتسبيح والتهليل والتقديس واعقدن بالأنامل فإنهن مسئولات مستنطقات
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) told us:
“Hold fast onto makingtasbih [saying Subhanallah], tahlil [saying La ilaha illallah] and glorifying Allah, and count them on your fingers for they [your fingers] will be questioned and asked to speak”

It was narrated from 'Amr bin 'Abasah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever builds a Masjid in which Allah is remembered, Allah, (the Mighty and Sublime) will build for him a house in Paradise."

Hazrat ‘Abdullah bin Busr (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that on one occasion, a plate was brought to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) then advised the Sahaabah, “Eat from the sides and not the middle, Allah Ta‘ala will place barakah in the food.”
عن ابن عباس أن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال البركة تنزل وسط الطعام فكلوا من حافتيه ولا تأكلوا من وسطه )ترمذي #1805 (
Hazrat ibn ‘Abbaas (radhiallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Barakah descends in the middle of the food. Therefore eat from the sides and do not eat from the middle.”
Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him): My friend (the Prophet (ﷺ) advised me to observe three things:
(1) To fast three days a month;
(2) To pray two rak`at of Duha prayer (forenoon prayer); and
(3) To pray witr before sleeping.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي صلى الله عليه وسلم بِثَلاَثٍ صِيَامِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَرَكْعَتَىِ الضُّحَى، وَأَنْ أُوتِرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنَامَ.

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) reached Makkah, circumambulated
the Kaba seven times and then offered a two Rakat prayer behind Maqam
Ibrahim. Then he went towards the Safa. Allah has said, "Verily, in Allah's
Apostle you have a good example."

Sayyiduna Mu’adh ibn Jabal (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said:“The last advice given to me by Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) when I put my foot in the stirrup was that he said, ‘Make your character excellent for the people, O Mu’adh ibn Jabal”(Muwatta Imam Malik, Hadith: 2626. عن مالك بن دينار عن الحسن قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم ما من عبد يخطب خطبة إلا الله عز و جل سائله عنها أظنه قال ما أراد بها. قال جعفر كان مالك بن دينار إذا حدث بهذا الحديث بكى حتى ينقطع ثم يقول تحسبون أن عيني تقر بكلامي عليكم وأنا أعلم أن الله عز و جل سائلي عنه يوم القيامة ما أردت به. رواه ابن أبي الدنيا والبيهقي مرسلا بإسناد جيد )الترغيب والترهيب 1/171(
Hazrat Maalik bin Dinaar (Rahimahullah) reports from Hazrat Hasan Basri (Rahimahullah) that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “Whichever servant of Allah Ta’ala delivers a khutba (sermon) before people, Allah Ta’ala will question him regarding it.” The narrator says, “I think the meaning of this Hadith is that Allah Ta’ala will question him regarding his intention at the time of delivering the khutbah.”
Ja’far (Rahimahullah) relates that when Hazrat Maalik bin Dinaar (Rahimahullah) would relate this Hadith, he would cry so profusely until he was unable to speak, and he would then say: “Do you think that I feel pleased and easy to deliver a lecture before you? Whereas I know that Allah Ta’ala will question me on the day of Qiyaamah regarding my intention for delivering the discourse before you.”
استقيموا، ولن تحصوا، واعلموا أن خير أعمالكم الصلاة، ولا يحافظ على الوضوء إلا مؤمن
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Remain steadfast [on whatever good is possible] for you will be unable to thoroughly carry out every single good deed [or, Remain steadfast for you are unable to count the reward of steadfastness]. Know that among the best of your deeds is Salah and that none maintains his wudu except a believer”
