    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying:

There is no divination but the best type is the good omen. It was said to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him): What is good omen? Thereupon he said: A good word which one of you hears.

    Abdullah bin Khabeeb ra said:

“we got out once on a rainy night and it was very dark and we looked for the prophet (s.a.w.) to pray for us and then we found him and he said ‘Did you pray?’ and I didn’t say anything. Then he said, ‘Say’ but I didn’t say anything. Then he said, ‘Say’ but again I didn’t say anything. Then he said, ‘Say’ So, I said, ‘What should I say?’ He said, ‘Qul Hoo wAllahu Ahad and Muwaidaitain when you enter the evening and when you wake up in the morning three times and it will protect you from everything’”

Anas رضي الله عنه said that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said to a man,

    «أَسْلِم» قَالَ: إِنِّي أَجِدُنِي كَارِهًا قَالَ: «وَإِنْ كُنْتَ كَارِهًا»

'Embrace Islaam.' The man said, 'I dislike it.' The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, 'Even if you dislike it.'

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Narrated Anas bin Malik (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Allah has appointed an
angel in the womb, and the angel says, 'O Lord! A drop of discharge (i.e.
of semen), O Lord! a clot, O Lord! a piece of flesh.' And then, if Allah
wishes to complete the child's creation, the angel will say. 'O Lord! A
male or a female? O Lord! wretched or blessed (in religion)? What will his
livelihood be? What will his age be?' The angel writes all this while the
child is in the womb of its mother."

Hazrat Mu’aawiyah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that he heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) saying:

O people! Ilm (the knowledge of Deen) is only that which is acquired through ta’allum (studying under the guidance of the rightly guided Ulama) and Fiqh (the true understanding of Deen) is only that which is acquired through tafaqquh (studying under the guidance of a person who is blessed with Fiqh). Whoever AllahTa‘alawishes good for, He blesses him with the true understanding of Deen, and indeed only those of His servant truly fear Allah Ta‘ala, who possess (the) knowledge (of Deen).

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah likes sneezing and dislikes yawning, so if someone sneezes and then praises Allah, then it is obligatory on every Muslim who heard him, to say: May Allah be merciful to you (Yar-hamuka-l-lah). But as regards yawning, it is from Satan, so one must try one's best to stop it, if one says 'Ha' when yawning, Satan will laugh at him.”
