    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Hazrat ibn Abbaas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

“Whoever is questioned regarding the knowledge of Deen and he conceals it, he will come on the day of Qiyaamah bridled with a bridle of fire, and whoever interprets the Quran without knowledge, he will come on the day of Qiyaamah bridled with a bridle of fire.”

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: "Some are swift to anger and swift to cool down, the one characteristic making up for the other; some are slow to anger and slow to cool down, the one characteristic making up for the other; but the best of you are those who are slow to anger and swift to cool down, and the worst of you are those who are swift to anger and slow to cool down." [Tirmidhi]
