    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

    arrated/Authority of

Malik related to me from Yahya ibn Said from Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman that Barira came asking the help of Aisha, umm al-muminin. Aisha said, "If your masters agree that I pay them your price in one lump sum and set you free I will do it." Barira mentioned that to her masters and they said, "No, not unless your wala' is ours." Yahya ibn Said added that Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman claimed that Aisha mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace said, "Buy her and set her free. The wala' only belongs to the one who sets free."

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) that Nu'man b. Qaufal (May Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “Would I enter Paradise if I say the obligatory prayers and deny myself that which is forbidden and treat that as lawful what has been made permissible (by the Shari'ah)?” The Prophet (ﷺ) replied in the affirmative.

It is mentioned in narrations that a faithful believer will ask, “Where is Sirat (the Bridge)?” Angels will reply that it has already passed from beneath your mount. He will ask, “What kind of a rider is it? He would be replied, “This is the changed form of those Masjids in which you were regularly and zealously offering Prayers sincerely.”

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, “If anyone of you looked at a person who was made superior to him in property and (in good) appearance, then he should also look at the one who is inferior to him.”
