Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Reason: to add a deinition
Narrated `Aisha (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and receive good news because one's good deeds will not make him enter Paradise." They asked, "Even you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He said, "Even I, unless and until Allah bestows His pardon and Mercy on me."
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: He who called (people) to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who called (people) to error, he shall have to carry (the burden) of its sin, like those who committed it, without their sins being diminished in any respect.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) - in the Hadith of pilgrimage which is long - said in regard to women, "They (women) have rights over you (the men) to provide them with their sustenance and clothing in a reasonable manner."
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever washes a dead person should take a bath (thereafter); and whoever carries it should perform ablution”. Reported by Ahmad, An-Nasa’i and At-Tirmidhi who graded it Hasan (fair).
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “If one of you feels disturbance in his stomach and doubts whether he has released some wind or not, then he should not leave the mosque unless he hears its sound or smells (its) odour”. [Reported by Muslim].
Jundub (RA) reported: I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) five days before his death and he said: I stand acquitted before Allah that I took any one of you as friend, for Allah has taken me as His friend, as he took Ibrahim as His friend. Had I taken any one of my Ummah as a friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr (RA) as a friend. Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that.

Fasting is half of patience and purification is half of faith.”Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3519Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Suyutiعَنْ جُرَيٍّ النَّهْدِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ التَّسْبِيحُ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ يَمْلَؤُهُ وَالتَّكْبِيرُ يَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالصَّوْمُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ وَالطُّهُورُ نِصْفُ الْإِيمَانِ3519 سنن الترمذي كتاب الدعوات باب منه4619 المحدث السيوطي خلاصة حكم المحدث صحيح في الجامع الصغير
It was narrated that Suraqah bin Ju'shum (RA) said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), is one's deed in that which has already dried of the Pen and what has passed of the Divine Decree, or is it in the future?' He said: 'No, it is in that which has already dried of the Pen and what has passed of the Divine Decree, and each person is facilitated for what he has been created.'"
Abu'd-Darda' (RA) said, "Shall I tell you about something better for you than sadaqa and fasting? Improving the state of friendship. Hatred is what shaves things away."
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the Adhan is pronounced Satan takes to his heels and passes wind with noise during his flight in order not to hear the Adhan. When the Adhan is completed he comes back and again takes to his heels when the Iqama is pronounced and after its completion he returns again till he whispers into the heart of the person (to divert his attention from his prayer) and makes him remember things which he does not recall to his mind before the prayer and that causes him to forget how much he has prayed."
It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us for the Maghrib prayer. Then he did not come out until half the night had passed. Then he came out and led them in prayer, then he said: "The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you are still in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer. Were it not for the weak and the sick, I wanted to delay this prayer until the middle of the night.'"
Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying, “Ablution is necessary for one who sleeps lying down, for when he lies down his joints are relaxed.” Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him."
It was narrated that Suwaid bin Ghafalah (RA) said: “I went out with Zaid bin Suhan (RA) and Salman bin Rabi'ah (RA), and when we were at `Udhaib, I found a whip. They said to me: 'Throw it away,' but I refused. When we came to Al-Madinah. I went to Ubayy bin Ka'b (RA) and told him about that. He said: 'You did the right thing. I found one hundred dinar that had been lost at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and I asked him about it. He said, “Announce it for a year.” So I Announced it, and I did not find anyone who recognized it. He said: “Remember the features of its bag and strap, and how many it contains, then announce it for a year. If someone comes who describes it with those features, (give it to him), otherwise it is like your own property.”
Please mention the Hadiths regarding the benefits of reciting Surah Yasin, and the best times and occasions to recite it.
Answer:
There are many narrations that discuss the virtue of this surah. Some Muhaddithun have written entire booklets on this topic. Hereunder are some of these Hadiths:
1. Sayyiduna Ma’qil ibn Yasar (radiyallahu’anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said: “Surah Yasin is the heart of the Qur’an. When anyone who intends the Akhira recites it Allah will forgive him. Recite it upon your deceased.” (Sunan Abi Dawud) Imam Hakim has classified this tradition as sahih (authentic); Mustadrak Hakim vol.1 pg.565 – see al-Targhib vol.2 pg.376
Imam Ahmad has narrated in his Musnad from Safwan that, ‘The scholars use to say that when it is recited by the deceased, Allah creates ease for him/her.’ (See Tafsir ibn Kathir vol.3 pg.571)
2. Sayyiduna Jundub ibn ‘Abdullah (radiyallahu’anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said, “Whoever recites Surah Yasin at night seeking the pleasure of Allah, His sins will be forgiven.”
(Muwatta Imam Malik).
Imam ibn Hibban has classified it as sahih – Sahih ibn Hibban vol.6 pg.312 (see al-Targhib vol.2 pg.377)
A similar narration is reported by Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu’anhu) and has been recorded by Imam Abu Ya’ala in his Musnad. Hafiz Ibn Kathir has classified its chain of narrators as good (jayyid). (Tafsir ibn Kathir vol.3 pg.570)
Based on this narration, Allama Al-Munawi (rahimahullah) has deduced that whoever will recite Surah Yasin during the morning, will also be forgiven, Inshallah. (See Faydul-Qadir vol.6 pg.259)
3. Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu’anhuma) says: “Whoever recites Yasin in the morning, his work for that entire day will be made easy and whoever recites it at the end of the day, his tasks till the next morning will be made easy.” (Sunan Darimi vol.2 pg.549)
A similar narration has also been recorded by Imam Darimi from Atta ibn Abi Rabah (rahimahullah). (ibid)
Narrated Ibn Jarir bin 'Abdullah (RA): from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever starts a good tradition which is followed, then for him is a reward, and the likes of their rewards of whoever follows him, there being nothing diminished from their rewards. And whoever starts a bad tradition which is followed, then for him is the sin, and the likes of the sins of whoever follows him, there being nothing diminished from their sins."
A’ishah (RA) narrated that The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “When a woman gives some of the foodstuff (which she has in her house) in charity without being extravagant (without being wasteful), she will receive the reward for what she has spent, and her husband will receive the reward because of his earning, and the keeper (if any) will be similarly rewarded. The reward of one will not decrease the reward of the others.” Agreed upon.
