Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Reason: to add a deinition
Hazrat Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said "There will be afflictions (in the near future) during which a sitting person will be better than a standing one, and the standing one will be better than the walking one, and the walking one will be better than the running one, and whoever will expose himself to these afflictions, they will destroy him. So whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them, should take shelter in it."
It is this time we live in, don't partake in fitna it is better to barricade yourself than be swept in the tide of tribulations..
And Allah swt knows best

I was the butler of the people in the house of Abu Talha, and in those days
drinks were prepared from dates. Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) ordered somebody to announce that alcoholic drinks had been
prohibited. Abu Talha ordered me to go out and spill the wine. I went out
and spilled it, and it flowed in the streets of Medina. Some people said,
"Some people were killed and wine was still in their stomachs." On that the
Divine revelation came:-- "On those who believe And do good deeds There is
no blame For what they ate (in the past)." (5.93)

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah).” He was asked: "O Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH), not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah?” He [SAWW](PBUH) replied, "Not even Jihad in the Cause of Allah, except in case one goes forth with his life and his property and does not return with either of it.” [Al-Bukhari
Book 02, Chapter 15, Hadith #
086].
Hazrat Talhah bin Ubaidullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: At the sight of the new moon (of the lunar month), the Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) used to supplicate: "Allahumma ahillahu `alaina bil-amni wal-iman, was-salamati wal-Islam, Rabbi wa Rabbuk-Allah, Hilalu rushdin wa khairin (O Allah, let this moon appear on us with security and Iman; with safety and Islam. (O moon!) Your Rubb and mine is Allah. May this moon be bringing guidance and good).”
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Allah has written for the son of Adam his inevitable share of adultery whether he is aware of it or not: The adultery of the eye is the looking (at something which is sinful to look at), and the adultery of the tongue is to utter (what it is unlawful to utter), and the inner self wishes and longs for (adultery) and the private parts turn that into reality or refrain from submitting to the temptation.” [Sahih Bukhari]
Immodesty, obscenity and any form of adutery be it of the eyes, ears, tongue or thoughts makes a hole in the heart. Through this hole leaks out eeman. So no matter how much you try to fill your heart with eeman, it will constantly flow out because of this hole. While an inappropriate thought might occur to anybody, as the Shaytaan is always trying to inspire people with these, yet it is the person who decieds whether to entertain such ideas, discussion, temptation or turn away from them.
If you are on a plateau, the more centrally you stand the safer you are. The more you get closer to the sides, the greater is the danger that you might fall off the edge. Therefore, to avoid the major form of adultery, the more we stay away from the minor forms of it, i.e. the adultery of the eyes, tongue, ears and thoughts, the safer we will be. Avoid movies that glamorize the immoral. Avoid hearing obscene talk. If an indecent thought occurs to you, seek refuge with Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) from the Shaytaan and don't entertain such thoughts.
