    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Rasoolullaah Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam said, "A Muslim eats in one stomach, but a Kaafir eats in seven stomachs." [Narrated in Saheeh al-Bukhaari.]

    ---

What this Hadeeth means is that the Kuffaar eat and drink considerably more than the Muslim does. It was the Sunnah of Rasoolullaah Sallallaahu `Alayhi wa Sallam and Sahaabah to eat and drink only enough to satiate their hunger and thirst. They would not eat until they are "full".

    Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever gives two
kinds (of things or property) in charity for Allah's Cause, will be called
from the gates of Paradise and will be addressed,

    'O slaves of Allah! Here
    is prosperity.'

So, whoever was amongst the people who used to offer their

prayers, will be called from the gate of the prayer; and whoever was
amongst the people who used to participate in Jihad, will be called from
the gate of Jihad; and whoever was amongst those who used to observe fasts,
will be called from the gate of Ar-Raiyan; whoever was amongst those who
used to give in charity, will be called from the gate of charity."

    Abu Bakr
said, "Let my parents be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! No distress
or need will befall him who will be called from those gates. Will there be
any one who will be called from all these gates?"

    The Prophet (Sallallahu
'Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied, "Yes, and I hope you will be one of them."

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: I live in the thought of My servant and I am with him as he remembers Me. (The Holy Prophet) further said: By Allah, Allah is more pleased wth the repentance of His servant than what one of you would do on finding the lost camel in the waterless desert. When he draws near Me by the span of his hand. I draw near him by the length of a cubit and when he draws near Me by the length of a cubit. I draw near him by the length of a fathom and when he draws near Me walking I draw close to him hurriedly.

Hadhrat Abu-d Dardaa رضي الله عنه narrates that Rasoolullaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "The thing I fear most for my Ummah is 'Al-A'immah Al-Mudhilloon' (The Misguiding Scholars)." [Narrated in the Musnad of Imaam Ahmad.]

The misguiding scholars are those who twist the Qur'aan and Sunnah from their true meanings, and deceive people with their flowery speeches which are devoid of Hidaayah (Guidance). The people listening do not know better, and think that what this scholar is saying is the truth, when in reality he is distorting the Qur'aan and Sunnah to suit his own whims and desires, or the whims and desires of his Kuffaar masters.

    Bismillah;

Ibn `Umar [may Allah be pleased with him] said:

“We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when a man among the people said: ‘Allah is most exceedingly great, and praise is due to Allah, abundantly, and glory to Allah morning and night (Allāhu akbaru kabīran wal-ḥamdulillāhi kathīran wa subḥānallāhi bukratan wa aṣīlā).’

So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Who is the one who said such and such?’

So a man among the people said: ‘Me, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’ He said: ‘I was amazed at it. The gates of heaven opened up for it.’”

Ibn `Umar said: “I have not abandoned them since I heard [them] from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).”

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Not to wish to be the like except of two men. A man whom Allah has given the (knowledge of the) Qur'an and he recites it during the hours of night and day and the one who wishes says: If I were given the same as this (man) has been given, I would do what he does, and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the just and right way, in which case the one who wishes says, 'If I were given the same as he has been given, I would do what he does.' "

    24th Ramadan 1437 (29th June 2016

    Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to kiss and embrace (his
wives) while he was fasting, and he had more power to control his desires
than any of you. Said Jabir, "The person who gets discharge after casting a
look (on his wife) should complete his fast."
