    Hadeeth of the day (OP)

As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

    Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

    (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

    (2) to follow funeral processions,

    (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

    (4) to return greetings,

    (5) to help the oppressed,

    (6) to accept invitations,

    (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Jabir (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed the most beloved among you to me, and the nearest to sit with me on the Day of Judgment is the best of you in character. And indeed, the most disliked among you to me, and the one sitting furthest from me on the Day of Judgement are the Thartharun, and the Mutashaddiqun and the Muthafaihiqun." They said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! We know about the Thartharun, and the Mutashaddiqun, but what about the Muthafaihiqun?"' He said: “The arrogant."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The people who get
tremendous reward for the prayer are those who are farthest away (from the

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

    30th Rabi al-Awwal 1439 (18th December 2017)

    Narrated Nafi' (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Ibn 'Umar said, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, 'If
the supper is served for anyone of you and the Iqama is pronounced, start
with the supper and don't be in haste (and carry on eating) till you finish
it." If food was served for Ibn 'Umar and Iqama was pronounced, he never
came to the prayer till he finished it (i.e. food) in spite of the fact
that he heard the recitation (of the Qur'an) by the Imam (in the prayer).
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If
anyone of you is having his meals, he should not hurry up till he is
satisfied even if the prayer has been started."

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The sneeze is from Allah and the yawn is from Ash-Shaitan. So when one of you yawns let him cover his mouth with his hand. For when he says 'Ah, Ah' Ash-Shaitan laughs from inside his opening." [And indeed Allah loves the sneeze and He dislikes the Yawn, so when a man says Ah, Ah when yawning, indeed Ash-Shaitan laughs from inside his opening."]

Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "It is a bad thing that some of you say, 'I have forgotten such-and-such verse of the Qur'an,' for indeed, he has been caused (by Allah) to forget it. So you must keep on reciting the Qur'an because it escapes from the hearts of men faster than camel do."

    Re: Hadeeth of the day

Narrated Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri (RA): I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them.

Narrated Abu Musa (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other." The Prophet (peace be upon him) then clasped his hands with the fingers interlaced (while saying that).
