Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:
I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--
(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),
(2) to follow funeral processions,
(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),
(4) to return greetings,
(5) to help the oppressed,
(6) to accept invitations,
(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was the most generous of all
the people, and he used to be more generous in the month of Ramadan when
Gabriel ('Alaihis-Salam) used to meet him. Gabriel ('Alaihis-Salam) used to
meet him every night in Ramadan to study the Holy Quran carefully together.
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to become more generous
than the fast wind when he met Gabriel ('Alaihis-Salam).

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O people, fear Allah and be moderate in seeking a living, for no soul will die until it has received all its provision, even if it is slow in coming. So fear Allah and be moderate in seeking provision; take that which is permissible and leave that which is forbidden. "
Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Angels keep on descending
from and ascending to the Heaven in turn, some at night and some by
daytime, and all of them assemble together at the time of the Fajr and 'Asr
prayers. Then those who have stayed with you over-night, ascend unto Allah
Who asks them, and He knows the answer better than they, "How have you left
My slaves?" They reply, "We have left them praying as we found them
praying." If anyone of you says "Amin" (during the Prayer at the end of the
recitation of Surat-al-Faitiha), and the angels in Heaven say the same, and
the two sayings coincide, all his past sins will be forgiven."

Ibn 'Abbas (RA) narrated: "I was behind the Prophet (peace be upon him) one day when he said: 'O boy! I will teach you a statement: Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. When you ask, ask Allah, and when you seek aid, seek Allah's aid. Know that if the entire creation were to gather together to do something to benefit you- you would never get any benefit except that Allah had written for you. And if they were to gather to do something to harm you- you would never be harmed except that Allah had written for you. The pens are lifted and the pages are dried.'"
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Which charity is the most superior in reward?" He replied, "The charity which you practice while you are healthy, niggardly and afraid of poverty and wish to become wealthy. Do not delay it to the time of approaching death and then say, 'Give so much to such and such, and so much to such and such.' And it has already belonged to such and such (as it is too late)."
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever believes in Allah and His Apostle, offer prayer perfectly and fasts the month of Ramadan, will rightfully be granted Paradise by Allah, no matter whether he fights in Allah's Cause or remains in the land where he is born." The people said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! Shall we acquaint the people with the is good news?" He said, "Paradise has one-hundred grades which Allah has reserved for the Mujahidin who fight in His Cause, and the distance between each of two grades is like the distance between the Heaven and the Earth. So, when you ask Allah (for something), ask for Al-firdaus which is the best and highest part of Paradise." (i.e. The sub-narrator added, "I think the Prophet also said, 'Above it (i.e. Al-Firdaus) is the Throne of Beneficent (i.e. Allah), and from it originate the rivers of Paradise.")

Narrated Ma'n bin Yazid (RA): My grandfather, my father and I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) got me engaged and then got me married. One day I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with a complaint. My father Yazid had taken some gold coins for charity and kept them with a man in the mosque (to give them to the poor) But I went and took them and brought them to him (my father). My father said, "By Allah! I did not intend to give them to you. " I took (the case) to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him). On that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "O Yazid! You will be rewarded for what you intended. O Man! Whatever you have taken is yours."

It was narrated from Ibn Abi Sa'eed Al-Khudri (RA) that his father said: "I passed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) when he was performing Wudu' from the well of Buda'ah. I said: 'Are you performing Wudu' from it when garbage is thrown into it?' He said: 'Water is not made impure by anything.'"
Asma bin Al-Hakam Al-Fazari (RA) said: "I heard Ali (RA) saying: 'Indeed I am a man who, when I heard a Hadith from Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) then Allah causes me to benefit from it as much as He wills for me to benefit from it. When a man among his Companions narrated to me I ask him to swear an oath to me about it, and when he swears an oath to me I trust him. And Abu Bakr narrated to me - and Abu Bakr told the truth - he said: "I heard Allah's Messenger (S) saying: 'There is no man who commits a sin, then makes Wudu, then performs Salat, then seeks forgiveness from Allah, except that Allah forgives him.' Then he recited this Ayah: Those who when they have committed Fahishah or wronged themselves with eveil, remember Allah. (3:135) until the end of the Ayah."
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: A believer who recites the Qur'an is like an orange whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is sweet; a believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date which has no fragrance but has a sweet taste; and the hypocrite who recites the Qur'an is like a basil whose fragrance is sweet, but whose taste is bitter; and a hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is like the colocynth which has no fragrance and has a bitter taste.
Narrated Abu Waqid Al-Laithi (RA): While Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was sitting in the mosque with some people, three men came. Two of them came in front of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) and the third one went away. The two persons kept on standing before Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) for a while and then one of them found a place in the circle and sat there while the other sat behind the gathering, and the third one went away. When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these three persons? One of them betook himself to Allah, so Allah took him into His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah, so Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and did not punish him), while the third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face from him likewise. "
It was narrated that Abu Al-Jawza (RA) said: "Al-Hasan said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) taught me some words to say in witr in Qunut: Allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta wa 'afini fiman afayta wa tawallani fiman tawallayta wa barik li fima a'tayta, wa qini sharra ma qadayta, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda 'alayk, wa innahu la yadhilluman walayta, tabarakta Rabbana wa at'alayt (O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, turn to me in friendship among those on whom You have turned in friendship, and bless me in what You have bestowed, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can influence You; and he is not humiliated whom You have befriended. Blessed are You, O Lord, and Exalted.)'"
It was narrated that ‘Imran bin Husain (RA) and Abu Barzah (RA) said: “We went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to attend a funeral, and he saw some people who had cast aside their upper sheets and were walking in their shirts only. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘Are you adopting the practice of the days of ignorance?’ or; ‘Are you imitating the behaviour of the days of ignorance? I was about to supplicate against you that you would return in a different form.’ So they put their sheets back on and never did that again.”

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) offered a prayer, and (after
finishing) he said, "Satan came in front of me trying persistently to
divert my attention from the prayer, but Allah gave me the strength to
over-power him."
It was narrated from Shuraih (RA) that: He wrote to 'Umar, to ask him (a question), and 'Umar wrote back to him telling him: "Judge according to what is in the Book of Allah. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah, then (judge) according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], then pass judgment according to the way the righteous passed judgment. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah, or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah [SAW], and the righteous did not pass judgment concerning it, then if you wish, go ahead (and try to work it out by yourself) or if you wish, leave it. And I think that leaving it is better for you. And peace be upon you."
